Aftermath where Whumpee realizes everyone seems to have just...moved on without them. Not that they don't care. They still talk, hang out, etc, but it's clear they've continued with their lives. Which is a good thing! But Whumpee can't help but feel bitter. It doesn't even matter if they came back changed or the same; their life was put on hold either way.
The dynamics aren't the same. They can't relate to anyone anymore. Friends talk about their lives and accomplishments, but Whumpee has nothing positive to share aside from "Well, I'm not dead?"
The isolation's got them agonizingly desperate for any semblance of the Before. But there's nothing to do but play catch up because the world kept turning. Torture doesn't stop time, and the sun rose everyday even if Whumpee didn't get to see it.
