Official Queer Mystery Tournament Bracket
Originally, I planned to assign each character a seed number. I quickly realized that was way too difficult and just fed everything into a random number generator. This was the result.
ROUND ONE:
Left Side
Jonathan Sims (The Magnus Archives) vs Emmy Altava (Professor Layton)
L Lawliet (Death Note) vs Cabanela (Ghost Trick)
Ema Skye (Ace Attorney) vs Herhsel Layton (Professor Layton)
Frog Detective (Frog Detective) vs Herlock Sholmes (Ace Attorney)
Fred Jones (Scooby-Doo) vs Nate Fisher (Truly Devious)
Detective Pikachu (Pokemon) vs Scooby-Doo (Scooby-Doo)
Harry Du Bois (Disco Elysium) vs Oh Inha (Buried Stars)
Miss Marple (Agatha Christie Mysteries) vs Michel Bollinger (The House in Fata Morgana)
Right Side
Fox Mulder (The X-Files) vs Velma Dinkley (Scooby-Doo)
David Tapp (SAW) vs Kim Kitsuragi (Disco Elysium)
Sherlock Holmes (Sherlock Holmes in the 22nd Century) vs Benoit Blanc (Knives Out)
Lt. Columbo (Columbo) vs Shaggy Rogers (Scooby-Doo)
Kudo Shinichi (Detective Conan) vs Hercule Poirot (Agatha Christie Mysteries)
Rosa Diaz (Brooklyn Nine-Nine) vs Daphne Blake (Scooby-Doo)
Edwin Paine (Dead Boy Detectives) vs Juno Steel (The Penumbra Podcast)
Dana Scully (The X-Files) vs Miss Lemon (Agatha Christie Mysteries)
Please note that the polls will not have pictures for Round One, because it's just too much work for me to do all by myself, and also because I want everything to be done within the span of Pride Month. Polls will last for one day, with a buffer day in between to allow me to sort out the new brackets.
Have fun!
Welcome to GothicWidow’s overall masterlist
I reflected how little difference there was between one body and another. If one looked closely and appraisingly - yes - but to the casual glance? One moderately well-made young woman is very like another. Two brown legs, two brown arms, a little piece of bathing suit in between - just a body in the sun. When a woman walks, when she speaks, laughs, turns her head, moves a hand - yes then, there is personality - individuality.

This Blog: An Update
I've really enjoyed writing on this blog and I am really glad a lot of other people also enjoy the content I create; thank you all for 50 followers! I started using this blog as an outlet of ideas I had after Blizzconline in February, and recently I have had a harder time coming up with really good ideas. Along with playing Overwatch, I do a lot of reading, so I am going to start a blog about reading.
I will still post on this blog, but I will also be talking about reading on my new blog. I have several ideas for this blog in the works including a mini theory about Wildebeest, a theory about the Kanezaka Fox Girl, a theory about Junkrat's treasure, I will go over the OWL matches once they start up again, and after Game Director Aaron Keller's update in a few days, I will go over all of that.
For my new blog, I am going to be posting about Percy Jackson/Heroes of Olympus/Trials of Apollo, The Grishaverse books(and show once I watch it), Agatha Christie, and a couple other of my favorite book series. Thank you all for supporting me, and I hope some of you like the new content I am going to be making in the future! ~ Nova
I did it and made the blog! Here's the link! I'll post about
Agatha Christie soon.
(Alright, so I am adding this just before I post it, my master lists were not working so I deleted them. I am not sure what I could use as a replacement for them, I'm going to see if I can figure something out).
Without a Trace: Agatha Christie
Death is one thing, but when someone disappears, those who are left behind often say it is a fate worse than death. At least with death there is an end. When someone goes missing the questions remain, a continuous crime that lingers on. Each year thousands of people disappear in America alone. Some can be attributed to homicides or suicides, but the majority are voluntary – teenage runaways or people seeking a new start in life. However, there are a few disappearances that are so strange, so inexplicable that they have captured the public’s imagination and continue to intrigue us to this day.
From a world famous author who disappeared to missing settlers of the Lost Colony, here are seven strange and baffling cases of people who simply vanished without a trace.
Best known for her mystery novels, Agatha Christie is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the best-selling novelist of all time, but it is the real-life mystery surrounding her disappearance that baffles fans and amateur sleuths to this day. In 1926 Christie’s car was found teetering on the edge of chalk pit in Surrey. She was not inside and there was no trace of her anywhere. The most famous woman in the world had vanished. Fifteen thousand volunteers joined the search for the missing author and after 11 days she was recognized by a member of the public in a hotel, living under an assumed name. Christie never publically spoke about why she disappeared or what had taken place during those 11 days, but perhaps it had something to do with her favorite genre – mystery.
Been reading Les Misérables. Is it just me or do Cosette and Marius remind me of those young couples from in an Agatha Christie novel who help solve a murder?
Jane Marple #1
Imagine...
Finding a friend in amateur consulting detective Jane Marple
Out of all elderly women Y/N L/N could have befriended in the small village of St Mary Mead of course it had to be her. Jane Marple was a sweet lady really but there definitely was a mischievous streak within the older woman. All villages talked, but St Mary Mead was perhaps the best at hiding its gossip behind fake smiles and small gestures. “Now don’t tell me you only invited me for tea Miss Marple” Y/n teased gently placing the everyday china cup back onto its saucer. “Well other than Raymond you’re the only young person I see really.” The thin woman replied with a small shrug of her shoulders.
