“To ensure that no underage student yields to temptation, I will be drawing an Age Line around the Goblet of Fire [...]. Nobody under the age of seventeen will be able to cross this line”
That’s all very well, but aren’t First Years taught the Levitation Charm?

(Quote from Dumbledore in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Chapter 16, “The Goblet of Fire”)
Our announcement of MuggleNet Junior and MuggleNet After Dark was just an April Fools joke! Fans of all ages are welcome at MuggleNet!
the age line
then, with the eyes of every person in the entrance hall upon him, fred took a great breath and stepped over the line.
for a split second harry thought it had worked - george certainly thought so, for he let out a yell of triumph and leapt after fred - but next moment, there was a loud sizzling sound, and both twins were hurled out of the golden circle as tough they had been thrown by an invisible shot-putter. they landed painfully, ten feet away on the cold stone floor, and to add insult to injury, there was a loud popping noise, and both of them sprouted identical long white beards.

How did the goblet in the age line know who Fred and George where and how old they were? Like, does Dumbledore have a painting that sits and has to check all of them but nobody knows what painting it is so they can't cheat?
Age line
I wish I could put a “Goblet of Fire” style age line around my desk. Why do students mess with my stuff? Why!?! Today a student got a book from my shelf behind my desk, opened it to a semi-nude piece of art, thrust it in my face as I walked in the door, and asked “what is this?” Teachers three doors down heard me lose my shiz. Also, I hate study hall.
