Another dawn shot
I thought I would start the week looking back at a moment that moved me in my photo career. I was shooting for the charity WaterAid in India (Odisha). This guy lost his entire family in a torrential storm that washed them away. It must have been unthinkably difficult but what made things worse was he now lived in a temporary shelter on a floodplain. It broke my heart to know the same fate was going to unfold once more as the seasons changed. As I crouched down in his space to take his picture he was so calm and so open. He just looked straight down the barrel, Immensely proud and strong. I can only hope he was able to get the help he needed to move on and rebuild.
This is Robin. He is fixing up my house. Today is floor sanding. Somehow he looks cool. A new flash disk arrived in the post and I needed to test it. I can say I'm very happy with it.
I may have a new project #lookinginthings.
Saw this scene from the local bus and knew I had to go back. Its not every day you see a field full of ice machines.
This is Mark, He sells memorial stones in Pensilvania. Loves cigars liquour. Whats not to like, we left them after lunch and drinks sideways!
