Happy Pride Month!
"he's asexual? ohhh that's why he's so weird-" haha no. my weirdness and my asexuality are two completely different entities. they have nothing to do with each other. i am weird because yes and i am asexual because duh. you hear me?
let ace people exist. let aro people exist. let aroace people exist. let alloace people exist. let aroallo people exist.
leave them be if they choose to have sex. leave them be if they choose not to have sex.
leave them be if they choose to have romance. leave them be if they choose not to have romance.
leave them be if they prioritize friendship. leave them be if they do not prioritize friendship.
leave us be, and let us live our lives.
If a label fits you, you have every right to use it. Even if it’s “contradictory”.
Being queer is not a club that people can exclude you from.
If your queer identity doesn’t hurt anyone, own it.
Ace-spec people, what labels do you use?

I wish there was more alloaro content out there. So much aro content is exclusively aroace. It also feels so unfair bc there is no shortage of alloace content. It just feels like alloaros are always kind of left behind when it comes to the a in lgbtqia.
Reoriented / Adapt-oriented
A Term for folks who would be willing to re-adjust their orientation/attraction in way that would align and support their current partner(s) possible gender identity changes or transitioning
( example : a straight woman whose partner transitions to a woman would readjust her orientation to be lesbian/sapphic or multisexual out of support of her partners new gender identity.)
Mostly for any mono-oriented folks that feel like they would do this for their current partner(s) but mspecs could use it as well to show that they would be supportive/adapt to any gender change/transition their current partner(s) might go through
The opposite of this : Nonreoriented / Nonadapt-oriented
Hey.
I was just searching "asexual tag" just so I can block more bots but I came across of your post.
Is alloace a new thing? Since people keep coming up with new things all the time?
I literally googled "alloace" but it doesn't make much sense to me.
"Alloromantic Asexual (shortened to Alloace or Aceallo) describes those who are Asexual and/or Ace-spec, and also Alloromantic. They may experience romantic attraction but experience little, limited, or no sexual attraction."
Wouldn't the ones who experience little sexual attraction be called grey aces?
This definition I found makes zero sense to me really... because someone is allo... which means they do feel sexual attraction but now at the same time they feel very little attraction or none at all which kinda makes no sense since the whole point of an allo is being able to feel sexual attraction...
No, Allo-ace isn't a new thing, it's been around for years. it refers to people who are on the asexual spectrum but still experience /romantic/ attraction.
Allo-ace is short for alloromantic asexual.
allo-aro is short for allosexual aromantic.
if someone experiences little sexual attraction, they can call themselves a grey ace if they want to, but they could still call themselves an allo-ace because the allo here is refering to romantic attraction, not sexual.
allo doesn't always refer to sexual attraction, it can also reffer to romantic attraction, or platonic attraction. the meaning changes with the context. You can be allosexual, alloromantic, alloplatonic, and I have no doubt there are more variants that I don't know of.
