So..
I'm leaving work and my friend says "hey, I'm going to union square. Wanna come with me?
Usually I would go down to my train but I said sure, I'm up for a walk.
Two blocks up is Phluid, a gender fluid clothing store. A lovely place.
And I look at it as we pass and notice there's a huge sticker on the door. A sticker that looks like a Creatable World doll... And I look in and..
Holy hell, they have the dolls! On a huge display - I suppose that makes sense, I mean they are Gender Fluid dolls and.. with a yell I go running in. The music is loud, the dolls are stunning and there are so many people.
A couple of people who work there come over to say my reaction was so sweet and genuine, and I just gush over the dolls.
And the person I'm talking to says "oh! Well this is the launch party - the designer is right over there if you want to meet her."
And that, friends, is how accidentally I ended up at the launch party for the Creatable World dolls.
The designer, Linda, is a total sweetheart who signed my boxes!!!
