so imagine undyne and alphys' surprise when y/n takes them out to a slap fight.

and also their shock to see y/n participating said slap fight, and winning. undyne screaming out in astonishment and yelling passive-aggressive encouragement. alphys thinking it's cool but also getting increasingly worried as it progresses

undyne recording and posting some vids on her private story/close friends and then all of sudden their phones are blowing up lmao

y/n after, cheek swollen: "y'all think i can go to work tomorrow?"

Undyne always gets aggressive with her lovers, like, nothing to hurt you or Alphys, but she gets soo excited to show off her girlfriends to others.

“Look at my sick girlfriends, yeah, TWO girlfriends!”

Alphys is overwhelmed with the thought of having more than one partner, hell- even one partner makes her nervous. What if she messed everything up? What if they don't like how she really is?

Her worries are immediately calmed by Undyne’s aggressive praise and your (slightly) calmer method of telling her that you love her no matter what!!

Reptiles are cold-blooded, a fact widely known across the world. Their scaly bodies aren’t made for freezing environments, especially when covered by a thick layer of snow – what cold-blooded creature would be foolish enough to live in a place its body wasn’t naturally built to survive in?

Apparently, your monster girlfriend.

"If you wanted to see me so badly, you could’ve just called, sweetie." You adjust the scarf around Alphys’ short neck, covering as much of her little yellowish scales as possible. "I don’t want to lose my girlfriend to hypothermia." As worried as you were, you couldn't help but let a hint of teasing slip into your voice, finishing with a smug smile as your face neared hers.

As expected, the lizard began to stutter — and if you were in a more cozy place, her stammering would probably be paired with a warm orange blush on her cheeks, shining through her yellow scales.

"I-I just came to r-return the books you le-lent me!" She answered quickly, her little eyes darting everywhere but your face. You didn't mind the lack of eye contact, not when your gaze was busy admiring the figure in front of you.

Alphys was bundled up from head to toe, with a fluffy hat hiding part of her natural crown and layers of clothing keeping her warm against the cold — her plump tail even wrapped in a special sock covered in white polka dots. In her hands, she held a small stack of books — one of them with a slightly dented cover, you noticed.

Perfect. Your hands moved from the scarf down to the collar of her coat, adjusting the edges to protect her little neck better — who were you kidding? Your fingers merely played with the fabric between them as your gaze drifted over her yellow face (or what was visible behind those round glasses).

"Yeah?" It slips out softly from your mouth as you feel your smile soften. "Thanks, sweetheart, but next time, just call me. I'll come wherever you are, okay?" You don’t think twice before giving her snout a gentle squeeze with your fingers, watching her let out a small, surprised squeak.

"You know I hate it when you do that..." Alphys retorts, scratching her snout, but you can’t help but notice the not-so-subtle wag of her tail.

"No, you don’t hate it." You take the books from her covered hands, noticing that the tips of her gloves were made from a tougher fabric — likely to prevent them from tearing due to her claws, which, even though rounded, still did quite a bit of damage. "C’mon, get inside. We can finish that anime we started last week." The moment you mentioned it, Alphys’ face lit up, her little eyes practically shining like tiny stars.

Truly perfect.

"It-it-it's colder than I thought," Alphys said, and you weren't sure if she was shivering or stuttering. She wrapped her arms tighter around herself.

"We can go back home if you want," you said. "It's getting later in the afternoon, anyway."

You had gone out for lunch with her, chatting about how you had been recently, how her research was going, the latest episode of Mew Mew Kissy Cutie, and so on. It was a nice outing, but the temperature had dropped while you were inside. You glanced at Alphys, who's teeth were starting to chatter.

"N-no," she insisted. "Let's see the competition."

Frisk had mentioned a snowman building competition, near the restaurant in the park. After eating, you two had decided to visit it.

You walked down the street, idly chatting with Alphys as you did. It was the first winter since the barrier had broken, and the first natural winter the monsters had experienced. "I've seen-seen snow bef-before, but not falling from the-the sky," Alphys had said. "It's--different. In-in a good way!"

When you arrived at the park, the competition was almost over. Frisk flashed you both a thumbs up as they put the finishing touches on their sculpture. Sans, who had surprisingly also joined, was already asleep on the ground, while Papyrus shaved off the final pieces of snow on his own sculpture. Monster Kid and a human boy were working determinedly on some sort of dinosaur statue.

“Time’s up!” the person in charge called, and everyone backed away from their creations. As the judges moved down the line, Alphys shifted from foot to foot to keep warm.

“Do you want my scarf?” you asked.

“No, I-I’m okay,” Alphys said, front teeth clicking with cold. You stifled a laugh.

“It’s okay, really,” you insisted, unravelling the scarf and offering it. “I’m not that cold.”

“…Tha-thank you,” Alphys said, taking the scarf and carefully wrapping it around her neck and head. She smiled, slightly. “It’s nice to go out with you.” Then, after a beat, her eyes widened and she hurriedly added, “As-as-as friends! I mean!”

“I knew what you meant, Alphys,” you said, chuckling. “It’s nice to hang out with you, too! We should do it again.”

A cold wind blew through, scattering the top layer of snow and making you both shiver.

“Maybe next time with thicker clothes.”
