You liked the pies that Toriel made. Her cinnamon toffee pie became something unexpected and delicious for you when you first tasted a piece. When you decided to try baking such a pie, you didn't dare ask Toriel about it, but pretty quickly you found out that cooking was basically more difficult than you expected. After several attempts, you decided that it would be better and safer to seek advice from someone who really knew how to cook. That's why you came to Toriel with a request to teach you how to cook a pie that you liked so much

Toriel was glad when you mentioned your desire to learn how to bake pies. She didn't mind at all teaching you how to cook, and after a few days you started your training. You knew how to cook simple recipes that you cooked for yourself every day, but you had never done baking before, so you listened carefully to her explanations and remembered how and what to do. Toriel saw your serious and focused expression, so she gave you as many opportunities as possible to try to take part in the process of making dough and filling for the pie. But if you successfully handled this part, then the next one was more difficult. The pie was to be baked

Looking at her clean stove, you knew that Toriel used fire magic to cook, but you didn't have any magical abilities, which meant you had to bake a pie the old-fashioned way. The oven wasn't too complicated, but it was much more difficult to set the right temperature. You and Toriel decided to set the temperature to about medium and then act on the situation. You were both curious to find out what came out of it, and you tried to check the oven more often to make sure the pie wasn't burnt. While you were waiting, Toriel told you about how she made this pie for her children. You listened to her stories, knowing full well that it was really important to her, and only when you smelled the delicious smell did you remember that you had a pie in the oven

When you pulled the pie out of the oven, you couldn't help but smile with delight. It looked great. You didn't expect this to happen the first time. Toriel praised the result, and you claimed that without her, you definitely wouldn't have been able to make the pie so good. After you have tasted a piece of the pie, you are convinced that it is good not only on the outside, but also on the inside. She saw your happy smile and couldn't help but smile herself. Toriel was glad that you could spend time together and was ready to teach you how to cook not only a pie, but another day. You had an important mission to complete for the rest of the day

Pretty quickly, you went to all your friends to treat them to pieces of pie. You didn't tell Toriel, but you were going to treat Asgore, too, even though their relationship continued to be strained. But she wasn't going to get mad about it. Seeing you so happy just because you managed to make a pie, she couldn't help but feel joy. Seeing your happy expression was enough for her, and there wasn't much that could really ruin the rest of Toriel's day

Toriel was currently holding you tightly in her arms while you cry. You couldn't help but tell her about your old life before falling down here when she came into the room as she heard your cries and noticed your and your soul's behavior turn into a melancholic mood.

She reassures you it'll be alright, "Do not worry, my child." She says while petting your head, "I know you must miss your old life or feel unsafe in such an overwhelming environment since you aren't used to seeing monsters," She holds you closer to her, "But do not fret, I am the caretaker of the ruins and I'll take care of you too!" She gives you a small sympathetic smile. You can't help but feel safer in her arms and her words give promise. You feel yourself hug her tightly and she hugs you back. Her fur is soft, and her clothes are comfortably soft too. The cloth of her sleeves are like white, smooth, velvety blankets covering your back and shoulders as she gently and slowly rocks you. You're sitting on her lap, in her big comfy chair and you feel safe and sound.

With Toriel, you'll always be safe.

She'll make sure of it. As your new mother and your protector. After all...

She knows what's best for you.

- asgore is very open to the idea of polyamory, he loves both you and toriel with all his soul, it’d be an honor to be a partner to both of you. toriel feels similarly. they both have a lot of love in their hearts, more than enough for everyone. prepare for the warmest duo of partners you could ever hope for, figuratively and literally.

- you and toriel will gang up on asgore when his snoring is particularly bad. it can be godawful sometimes. now, it’s her turn to cuddle with you and she will be escorting you to the guest room where the two of you can get some good rest. the next morning, the two of you will tease a very sleepy asgore about it.

- asgore loves to garden and as such, closely knows the language of flowers. he will painstakingly make bouquets meant to convey how much he cares for you and they’ll be the center piece at dinners. you and toriel will try to figure out what they mean, it makes him very happy. who knew such a large guy could giggle like that.

- toriel loves to bake for you, its one of the ways she expresses love. that and reading to you. she has a pleasant voice, paired with the warmth of a freshly baked pie, its easy to relax in her arms. she’s just as big as asgore, though not quite as burly, she’s still up there in terms of strong. she makes for a very comfortable pillow.

- the three of you will fall into borderline insufferable pun circles, where you shoot one out and two more follow. in private, its mostly just for fun, but with the others, boy does it get some funny reactions. you three are menaces, add on sans, who will happily join in, it’ll be a nightmare (for everyone else)
