I had a small knee surgery on Monday so I’m currently stuck at home – which annoyed me a lot when there were these intense northern lights over Germany in the night from Friday to Saturday. I sat at my window and took a few sad little phone photos because I couldn’t run/walk or even drive to the next suited location.
Thankfully, yesterday there was another chance to see the Aurora and thanks to my dad who drove me to a good location, I got to see them. There was something absolutely magical about seeing them here in Germany and I’m so happy that I got the chance.
Yesterday’s lights weren’t quite as strong as the day before but I did get a couple of lovely magical shots, looking over Altenau and several hills in the Harz Mountains.
