Session number six of Davenport by Night, the VtM chronicle I'm STing, brought us to meet a nice pack of Garou who were kind enough not to tear my players to shreds (mostly).

Amaruq, or Singer Of The Memories: Librarian at the local public library, beloved by children, takes his job very seriously. Theurge of the Fianna tribe, Homid Garou, all around a very nice guy. Very level-headed and wise, he'd rather talk than fight - luckily for the players.

Freddie, or He Who Admires The Sunset: A young Homid Garou of the Fianna tribe, he is trying to find a place in the pack while also being very fascinated by the human world and all it offers. He swears he got lost admiring a sunset only one time, and he was five, and they shouldn't keep calling him that.

Storm Howling In The Night: A brash, impulsive Lupus Garou of the Fianna tribe, constantly fighting against anger issues and the need to bite and destroy. She can't understand why the others are so interested in the human world, and she really can't accept the fact that Amaruq is so nice even to leeches. They are enemies, for Gaia's sake!

Reiker: Lasombra NPC who is getting much more than he bargained for by foolishly deciding to tag along with the players. He already has a portrait but after a very close call with a bunch of angry hunters I decided he deserved an updated one. He does look good when he's covered in blood and wounds...

Y’all, I can’t be stopped! I’ve made Amaruq and Nuniq, which are def my fav two original characters. I know many of y’all are die hard Tahni and Neko fans, and I get it, I do. But these guys are just so sassy and fun! I like the one I made of Amaruq, but there weren’t very many options that screamed Nuniq to me on the pic crew, so I tried my best. But! I got that iPad now, so I’m going to be doing my own digital art here soon!

A sum up post of my PC Amaruq. He is a Bloodhunter that has been infected with lycantrophy. His life was relative peaceful untill he left his hometown. He cut ties with it since he wanted to see what the world really had to offer. Amaruq knew he didn't come from the village where he grew up but never knew where he really belonged. While playing him he found out where he came from wasn't what he wished for. He grew up as a shifter, a being that lived together with the animal spirit deep in them. He belonged to the clan of the wolfes, a mighty and strong clan, the one ruling over the rest of the kingdom where most of the shifters lived. He also found out his actual name was Kami. What he doesn't know, that by the circumstances he left his former home, he also changed his appearance. [ I will add to his story in another post]

HC #31

Kuzon died on the battlefield, in a town near Omashu. Bumi happened to be visiting, and saw his childhood friend get beaten in the fight. He dragged Kuzon’s body away from sight and held him in his arms while he died, Kuzon promised to tell Aang they both said hi.

40 years later, Bumi held Shan, Kuzon’s son, in his arms while he died from a fire nation dispute outside of Omashu. Both times, he carried the man’s body to his palace and burned it in a pyre, and sat vigil the whole night.

When Bumi, Kuzon, and Amaruq found the bodies of the air nomads, they sat vigil for all of them and left their bodies alone. They were only 12 when they saw their first corpse.

Bumi was 112 when he reunited with the only other living friend he had from his childhood.

Kuzon never did get to say hi.

Introducing Avatar Amaruq

Otherwise known as “the Grey Wolf”, Avatar Amaruq hails from the Southern Water Tribe. The daughter of fishers, she lived a humble and quiet life until she was informed she was the Avatar.

Unlike most Avatars, however, Amaruq did not like her special status. She wished to maintain her quiet Southern Tribe life. After quietly traveling to the earth kingdom, fire nation, and then air temples to master the four elements. In training, Amaruq discovered a power within her greater than she could have ever imagined, and formed a connection with Ravaa stronger than every Avatar since Wan.

Not wanting to advertise being the Avatar, Amaruq cloaked herself in a traditional Southern Water Tribe warrior outfit, and became known around the world as the Grey Wolf, after the headpiece she wore.

She would go down in history as one of the strongest, but often forgotten, Avatars. She mastered the Avatar state and channeled Ravaa’s presence like no other, and was a waterbender of unparalleled strength.
