so i noticed that our ancient friends’ glowy eyes have something of a pattern in their irises...

and to me it seems to match our Azem summoning glyph pretty dang well...

enough spokes or rays in their eyes to match each party member summoned!

there’s nothing to prove here, i just thought it was a neat little touch :)

Endwalker Trailer Shots - Amaurot

Some things in the trailer pleased me regarding images of the Final Days of Amaurot. Some things I hope we see more clearly.

First we have Amaurotines running, wearing their masks and robes, but the hoods have fallen back, showing a variety of hair colors and styles, and actual different people.

The masks seem stylized too; more varied, as we saw in the final battle with Hades. The ghosts of Amaurot that Emet-Selch created are most definitely generic images to fill the space. Which we’ve been told that by the devs, but it’s nice to see it.

The last image of someone running by the “Lady of Light” interests me as that seems to be some kind of horn or pointed ear; the shape is off to be human ears, and the way it continues down and there’s a gap between it and the neck.

Point is, they aren’t all willowy, pale humans with white hair despite the Lady and the brief description of Emet-Selch in a short story. These are people who could muck with concepts of reality, they could look like whatever they wished, and from some of them we likely get the formations of the other races of the world as well.
