No Kings in Newtown, Pennsylvania, June 14, 2025. Outside of Republican Representative Brian Fitzpatrick's office. There's a fair amount of protesters who meet there every Friday evening, but this was the special No Kings event and I've never seen so many people there! (Maybe the April 5 event, which we drove on by on the way to the Doylestown event). It was wet and fairly cold. Yes, that is my voice saying "I am getting soaked. We don't melt, we're not MAGA." Keep in mind that this is a SMALL town. It is also a predominantly Republican area, so it's not like the absolutely MASSIVE Philadelphia protest. Everything was peaceful - loud, but peaceful.

Protesting is and will always be a important part of American identity, as we were born from it and continue to use it as a rallying cry for change to this very day!
