No one in the zones talks about killjoys that fell victims to radiation during analog wars, some say it's because it's too painful to remember those days/family that was lost, others say they didn't know anyone who met this fate. They're all lying and they all know that creatures wearing faces of their loved ones still wander around the zones. The only hope left is that unlike the bodies, the souls were able to find peace

i have a headcanon that there's this spot in the Zones, somewhere between zones 4 and 5, where nothing works. Radios go dead, compasses don't work right, cars and motorbikes break down, kind of like the bermuda triangle. There's some debate about whether or not it exists, some people think it's just a tale told to younger zone rats to keep them from wandering off. Others claim to have lost people to it, others still claim to have survived it.

I love this! There are all these different theories as to why nothing works there. Some say it has something to do with magnets buried deep in the earth from the Analog Wars. 

People think that BLI planted some huge machine underground in that area that causes everything to stop working. They set it up as kind of a trap for killjoys and that’s why people get lost there. In actuality, BLI doesn’t go anywhere near this spot. They don’t know what causes it and they’re terrified of it.

Some think that this is where the Phoenix Witch lives. 

Others believe that this area is where Destroya will someday appear.

📻 Analog War I don't have a too in-depth hc about this, sorry. The Analog War started as the Cold War was ending. Several countries attacked each other with nuclear bombs and most civilizations/governments were destroyed. BLI is rumored to have formed shortly before the Cold War and was still around after the Analog War. After the war a lot of people turned to them for help. 🙂 Battery City Citizens I have a lot to say about this one, so I'm just going to give it it's own post 🌆 Other BLI Cities All cities have similar structures, nearly identical. All in difficult locations (deserts, mountains, places with harsh weather) to discourage citizens from leaving the city and going out on their own. Cities are never on the coast. There are 50-80 cities, no one knows for sure. BLI is the most widespread organization, but not the only one. BLI capital has director in charge of all of BLI, like a dictator
