I was JUST watching through Cortez’s romance last night and he really is so sweet and normal ;-; I wish so much there had been more for him and especially in me2 like you said. I love him and Vega’s little dynamic they’re so fun

YEA!! Like i get he's pretty much an alliance joe schmoe who wouldn't work with cerberus so i get why he wouldnt fit into me2 but i don't have to like it >:(( but there's something so potent about having shepard be this destroyer of worlds, champion of peace, traverser of the valley of death meanwhile the love of his life is a normal ass dude who's just quietly loving him and cheering him on from the sidelines. Like the me trilogy is almost completely lacking that dynamic (u could argue for traynor, and Jacob kind of but i have a million other gripes with Jacob's writing so).....all your romances are like. Badass x badass, battle couple, whatever and that's cute too but i want different dynamics in different romances!!

Also yes literally the only time i like vega is when he's bantering w cortez...id have loved to see more squad members talk with him cause i think thered be that vibe of "NOBODY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BE SHITTY TO STEVE" and you'd have normally more abrasive/sardonic squad members just slightly altering their mannerisms...i wanna see him with me2 jack. he just completely takes the wind out of her sails like "fly a little straighter, asshole, we're not supposed to die til we hit the LZ!"

Like Kaidan was...more cautious, as I remember it, though I don't remember well. But Ashley. ASHLEY. She worships Shepard. And it's going to gut her all the more. "You were resurrected by whomst?" she seems to say, flashing back to dead alliance soldiers and people turned to husks and thorian creepers, a soldier they stuck thresher maw acid into just to see what it would do. And Shepard is turning their back on the Alliance, the only thing she might actually worship more than Shepard (and well, God).

Like in me3 I always felt like Kaidan came around a bit faster, if I recall he asks to come back on the Normandy while Ashley is still hesitant (maybe because of my choices but I think I've always handeled them the same more or less). And I can see why it's a bigger deal for her.

“Where is she?” Donnie asks. It’s the first time he’s spoken, and Leo nearly jumps out of his shell as Donnie’s voice cuts through everyone else’s. “What happened?” he asks, when no response comes. 

The Bull stares at Donnie, its one eye unblinking. Leo’s skin prickles, and his joints ache, but all of that is secondary to the silent war of wills in front of him. Donnie holds the Bull’s gaze, his mouth a grim, thin line, and doesn’t move. 

Leo holds his breath. 

“What have you done?” Donnie whispers, no inflection. His throat jumps, once, and then he’s motionless again, and still staring at the Bull. 

A heartbeat later, and the Bull looks away. 

Hahahaha hey guys guess how much fun I’m having with Ghost AND Gates of Summer! So much fun hahahaha I can’t stop crying!
