Some random young Wentworth Tozier headcanons
Born October 12 1940
His parents are Marry and David Tozier.
He had ADHD like Richie.
His parents were really strict and overbearing on Went because of his hyperactivity. To the point were they’d tell him what to wear, think and eat.
He was friendly, funny, shy, optimistic, and hard on himself.
Imagine a 15 year old boy cracking knock knock jokes with slick back hair, round nerdy glasses, suspenders and a bow tie. And you’ll get Wentworth. (His mom picked out his clothes)
Needless to say. He got bullied. A lot.
His usual tormentors were the town’s greasers Andy Criss, Alvin Marsh, Richard Macklin, and you guessed it Butch Bowers.
But he was head over heels in love with one of his bullies. Maggie Locklin (Maggie Tozier). She was a troubled greaser girl at the time and Andy Criss’s on and off again girlfriend.
His friends were Zack Denbrough and Donald Uris.
His best friend though was Frank Kaspbrak. Who was captain of the football team and often would stand up for Wentworth from bullies. His later death really effected Wentworth negatively and made him more cynical.
Maggie knew about Wentworth‘s crush on her and used it to manipulate him into doing her and the gangs homework or giving her lunch money.
That is until she realized that Wentworth was the only person she knew that truly cared about her and accidentally started having feelings for him.
She became protective over him and even left the gang for him. Maggie made him get out of his comfort zone and live a little more. She was a wild crazy influence on him. (Though she changed into a more strict person when Richie came along because you can’t have two fun parents.)
His parents hated her though and forbade him from dating her. He defied them though for the first time in his life.
