Fandom Problem #10,432:
You hate live action remakes because they are crash grabs. I hate live action remakes because their existence expands the belief that animation isn't a valid form of media. We are not the same.
I swear these online " Animation Fans " who are so comfortable with sending vicious death threats towards animators and artists within the industry truly makes me wonder are they are even " fans " of the medium in the first place.
Because LORD .... to see some of these people lose their damn minds over a raunchy adult comedy about a horny dog not wanting to lose his balls is ridiculous to me ,
God Forbids any artist or creator in animation or art in general do anything outside these people fragile comfort zones or anything that's makes them slightly uncomfortable.
I swear these online animation community people/ fans wouldn't have survived Ralph Bakshi bodies of adult animated works way back in the day, which dealt with way more explicit and rancher and way more messed-up subject matter than Fixed.
Seriously, some of these " fans" really showcase how they seem to want all animation, especially animated movies, be them mature-rated or overwise to be exactly like the Disney's or Pixer or DreamWorks earlier works from their childhood and what they are used to from when they were kids or from that specific era. Anything outside of that or slightly different in any kind of way,
They seem to throw a fit over it or overreact in the most asinine of ways.
I personally enjoyed and really liked Fixed a lot.
It's definitely not everybody cup of tea for sure, but God... it's not the most graphic or raunchness thing I've ever seen before.
I've seen way worse explicit stuff or more graphic content in European films with full-frontal male and female nudity or worse shit in a NC-17 movie or certain 90s movies that dealt with some rough, raw, heavier subject matters and overall content that these online Animation community " Fans " would probably have a heart attack over.
I swear these people need to watch more stuff outside of animation or actually watch things that isn’t written for or primarily made for kids in elementary school or younger.
