Okay, I've been reading through most of your posts that mention Loki, cause I kinda would like to get his help with something? But I'm not sure if me wanting to talk to him (or any god) is enough? But now I get a really strange feeling on my right side? Like someone looking over my shoulder and also cuddling up a bit? Like my head is warmer on that side than the other and I'm both worried and also not? This sounds so strange. I hope I'm not going nuts. But I am crying due to that feeling, so...

I often feel Odin’s presence as a similar sensation, except on my left side, and often a hand on my shoulder.

I'm so sorry this is so late! Almost two weeks in fact! I've been very busy, and then I've been away on vacation, and then I got sick. So today I'm just trying to take it easy.

Anyway, you guys - I'm not really a person of many words when it comes to compliments, but thank you so, so much for all the nice messages! It really brightened my (birth)day! You guys are the best, and I'm happy to still be part of this community after all these years. ♥♥♥

It’s possible that your game started with the wrong graphics card, if you have an onboard one.That’s what happened for me. I fixed it by running the game as admin.

Mine did that fairly recently, too. I had to re-run the Graphics Rules Maker to fix it. I think for me it was a graphics driver update that triggered it, but I run Windows 7 on this machine, too, so it may have been that. Hope you can get it fixed ‘cuz it’s annoying as hell!

Okay, I used the instructions that @girzish linked and that fixed the resolution thing so I can change the screen size again, but I still can’t “smooth edges” at all. That part is grayed out. I’ve never had to use Graphic Rules Maker on this machine because things were always FINE UNTIL NOW, but I think I’ll try that next. Also, running as admin. It’s still making me log into Origin so maybe admin will fix that too...

Well, actually...

...It’s Prince. I’m doing a hood with inspired by the lost sims. Inspired by because I cannot for the life of me sculpt celebrities using TS2′s sliders. So, yeah.

The red suit with the Work-In-Progress-OMG it’s hideous citron colored detail-work from the other day is the formal suit for an Alan Rickman inspired sim. The blue suit from the same post is the formal suit for a David Bowie inspired sim.

I also need to do some recolors for my Carrie Fisher and Mary Tyler Moore inspired sims. I figured it was a jumping off point. Won’t net me as many “Nobody X’s like Gaston” inspired jokes as Kellie’s BATBish Sims, but I’m sure I shall somehow survive.

Oooooooh! That is amazingly lovely! Makes me want to play again! And I haven’t played in almost a year. That design on the back of the red coat looks very complicated. Must have been a lot of work! But I’d say it was worth it. <3 It’s very yellow, but I think you’re gonna add shading and texture to it, yes?

It’s all part of @morgaine2005‘s masterplan, she’s dragging us all back in and cackling all the way, I just know it.

Oh. *blushes and stubs toe into the ground* Yeah, that yellow is NOT what will be in the final skin. So, there’ll definitely be shading, texture, shadowing where appropriate. And it’ll probably be redone in the appropriate contrast color from the palette. I just needed, while drawing, a high contrast color I could see well against the red. These are both in progress shots taken straight out of “Kellie! I need some CC??” in chat, not finished or polished yet.

They’ll all, eventually, be done in my Disney 2.0 palette and Shasta’s Yeti Love Song. But I’ve decided to focus on per character clothing to get started. Each sim will get a standard wardrobe to start with in the appropriate colors of their palette.

Most of the stuff I’ll be doing is just basic recolors of what I (or *gaspshock* other people) have already done. (Painting small things with the mouse is one thing, however I like the battered remains of my sanity, so I’m just gonna recolor to the appropriate colors some of the lovely regency stuff already out there.)

As it stands right now standard wardrobe for adult/elder will be:

Four casuals - Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter

Two formals - Weddings, funerals

Two pajamas - Spring/Summer, Autumn/Winter

Two undies - Spring/Summer, Autumn/Winter

One workout - Most probably “riding” or “sporting” (Depends on the character.)

Two outerwear - Autumn, Winter

Kids (Toddler where applicable/child/teen) will get, mmm, about half that:

Two casuals - Spring/Summer, Autumn/Winter

One formal - Wedding (Unless deep mourning is required)

One pajama - Autumn/Winter

One underwear - Spring/Summer

Two workout - Spring/Summer/Early Autumn “play clothes”, Fall/Winter “sporting” One outerwear - Autumn/Winter Because God knows I’m completely incapable of achieving simplification even when I simplify.
