Maybe wait until you see what the Bambi remake actually looks like before throwing a temper tantrum?

I was trying to make a joke in that post, but a part of me was genuinely angry about this news of a remake. And I really doubt that Disney will make any effort for this one. Bambi is already a most underrated Disney movie and, as I have said, it is very dear to my heart. Judging by the rather inexpressive visuals of the Lion King remake, I really dread seeing the same treatment being applied to Bambi. That being said...🙂 It is a wonderful opportunity for Disney to revisit the original Felix Salten novel (after all, they bought the rights for adaptation when they made the original Bambi) and maybe include some darker elements and novel characters like Gobo, Faline's twin brother, Marena, the young naïve doe and Lady Nettla, an older, grumpier doe but which does help Bambi once in the novel.

Maybe they could even bring the ever-so-good ending of the book (which I will not spoil, here).

😔😔 But...It is most likely that Disney will not give a fig about all of this and will just make a half-baked movie. Maybe they'll even scrap its magnificent, classical-sounding soundtrack to replace it with awful, awful pop music...I'm so terrified of it...They did something similar for Bambi 2 with a more country-like soundtrack with songs by Allison Kraus. I liked those songs in that movie, but it just wasn't the Spirit of Bambi. Hope that answers your question, anonymus.

PS: I think Atlantis: The Lost Empire is the one movie that could use a very good remake. :-)

Hm... okay, was wäre, wenn Peter im ersten Kapitel nicht mit Kelly den Schlussdienst getauscht hätte? (Skinnys POV jetzt, obviously, weil wenn Peter nicht da ist, kriegt er natürlich auch nichts mit)

Mit zusammengebissenen Zähnen hastete Skinny die Straße hinunter. Schmerz pulsierte in Wellen durch seinen Körper. Hinter den Fenstern des kleinen Cafés war noch Licht. Er wusste selbst nicht so recht, warum es ihn ausgerechnet dahin zog. Aber vielleicht, ganz vielleicht, hatte er ja Glück und Peter war da. Und vielleicht hatte er noch mehr Glück, und Peter half ihm einfach, ohne allzu viele neugierige Fragen zu stellen. Aber er hatte natürlich kein Glück. Als er durch das Glas schielte, entdeckte er nur das dünne Mädchen mit dem Afro, das mit eiligen Bewegungen den Boden wischte. Fluchend zog er das Handy aus der Hosentasche. Dann musste er eben doch in den sauren Apfel beißen.

Hi! Oh I TOTALLY get you wanting to make sure a Fili work stands on its own! I agree, they ARE their own persons in the end! I love both of them so much, and you will find you're not the only one who is annoyed with lack of Fili in the films. But the films DID give us such a gorgeous portrayed of Fili, actually I think they did a super job on ALL of them! I hope you enjoy reading the Hobbit, and I look forward to seeing your Fili work WHENEVER you feel like creating it! Have a good day today!!!

And to add to the lack of Fili’s presence, the manner of his death was terrible, they didn’t let him to have a chance to defend himself unlike Kili or Thorin, it I started crying there, and well, to be honest when it was the turn of Kili, I was crying harder than Tauriel, and while lovely, Kili wasn’t my favourite dwarf, but still was hard to watch because their mother had lost both of her children, and on top of that a brother, poor woman. 

And yeah so far I’m enjoying the book, it has a complete different tone from the lord of the rings books,is lighter and feels more comic, but of course it was written more like a tale, and in part it saddens me that they discharged that in the movies in favour of the epic of another trilogy, I would have liked to visit another Middle Earth were the impending doom isn’t hanging over everyone’s head. Have a nice day dear.

Hello!! I saw you've met Sebastian!!! Lucky girl 💜💜💜!!!! How was this experience? How is him in person? Sharing is caring! 💜😄

Hello! Yes, you can say that I was lucky. There are few times when I am proud to be romanian and this was one of them.

Well, tbh, it was confusing at first. Me and Alina had different plans for that day, so we arrived there and everybody was waiting for him to show up. He came late (ofc, divas you know) and people were screaming but you could’ve seen the happiness on his face. We went in after some time because we had no tickets but I was talking with someone as I was from the press blahblah.

So we went in and he was speaking about his movie, “I, Tonya” with one of the most well known journalists in Romania. He spoke in romanian! And he was actually good, but also nervous and kept switching between languages. When he got off stage, he had to leave and then he came back at the end of the film for a Q&A. So when he left we were around (idk how to explain, we sat near the exit), and Alina stopped him and asked for a photo in romanian and he said “Of course”, also in romanian. It was surreal, I couldn’t process anything before we got out of the cinema.

The next day we also went in and the same thing happened: he came, people were screaming, he went on stage and talked about his experience with the kids from Our Big Day Out (a foundation that helps people in need) that came that morning to see Captain America and then took photos with him. After that he left and we left too and on his way out he stayed (despite his bodyguards’ telling him “let’s go”) and he took photos with EVERY fan that was there. (I was shaking when I took the photo and he touched my back ok, I was so nervous, I still am while I am talking about this). When he had to leave in a hurry, the sadness on his face was real! He adores his fans and he truly wanted to get a chance to meet/ talk/ hug, every single of them but time was pressing him.

He is a truly humble guy. Sebastian loves Romania and wants to come back. He loves the culture and the people and he is amazed by how many fans came for him, only for HIM, even from another countries! He is one of those famous persons that doesn’t care about fame, he talks about his mom in a way that shows how much he would do anything for her. She grew up a real life superhero. I wish every person who loves this guy, gets a chance to meet him. I promise you, it will be an experience you will never forget (at least I know I won’t). I had some things to learn from him and I hope everyone will, too!

This was pretty much my experience. But I forgot to say that at the Q&A and his open talk & radio interview he opened pretty much and let us saw the vulnerable and insecure person that he is behind the character. He doesn’t think he is special or even very famous. He doesn’t take things for granted. And this is why in the last few days I gave a lot of thought to many things and I’ve realised how much even a day can shape you.

I have only love and respect for Sebastian Stan!
