I hate trying to call myself. The line is always busy or takes me straight to voicemail. Plus, I know it's me calling -- what could I possibly have to tell myself that I don't already know? So now I refuse to answer. I wish I'd take the hint.
Maybe I should go outside and knock on my door to see if I'm home. Which I won't be, obviously, since I'll be busy knocking on my door to see if I'm home.
I can see the light coming from under the door. I know I'm here. Just not answering. Grr.
