Can the CW not with the hokey tacky gorilla villain on LoT?  Seriously, that whole thing on Flash was so over the top and lost me.  Well a lot of things on Flash lost me but that one tops it.  I’m so bummed.  I like LoT.  It’s actually fun to watch instead of all this dark and doom and everything’s shitty and man pain angst so many CW shows seem to focus on.

With Preacher, Riverdale and American Gods all being fan freakingtastic tv shows in there own ways, it's been harder and harder to watch the DCCW shows. Like the writing and visuals on all those other shows are amazing and it's hard to go back to the mundane 22 episode format where things are getting drawn out for no reason other that to fit the 22 episode format. And I want the shows to be good it's just the writing sucks with all of them now and the visuals are lacking in comparison. Well, hopefullly next season the DCCW shows are better. Because I can't stand them much longer.

Finally getting around to watching the latest Flash episode and I think I know why Hartley has not made an appearance yet.

If he were here, he’d have to be constantly drunk to be able to deal with this level of stupid.

Between HR broadcasting to his home world that he broke the law (No one actually called him out on this so far but I’m 30 minutes in and I don’t think it’s happening), Iris’s “Well, we’re trying to change the future but I’m going to ignore that and assume I’m invincible until May!” mentality, Wally’s bragging after every successful rescue (Not dumb but I find it annoying), and Julian doing pretty much everything Hartley would have done anyway and yet we don’t get Hartley...

At least Cisco’s stupid is understandable, he wanted a help his (dumb) friend, but the rest is... can you not? None of that makes sense, none of that is helpful, none of that is SMART and you’re suppose to be geniuses! 

I’m sorry but this is such a big pet peeve of mine that it’s not really a pet peeve but outright hatred. I HATE stupid characters, I hate stupid character that we’re suppose to believe are smart, I hate it so fucking much.

EDIT: OH I”M SORRY I THOUGHT ‘FIGHT TO THE DEATH” MEANT ONE OF YOU DIES NOT “GET PINNED DOWN FOR 5 SECONDS”. IF THAT WAS THE CASE CISCO LOST REPEATED.

I didn’t actually expect a death but come the fuck on, if that was all it took for Vaguely-Racist-Name to give up, I HIGHLY DOUBT SHE’S UNDEFEATED. ffs

Maybe this is just me and my lack of understanding of Flash comics... But is anyone else entirely uninspired by the news that the flash will have ANOTHER speedster villian? I get it, Barry's fast. You want to challenge that. How about you put him against somebody with different powers that insane speed can't stop? How many times will I have to watch the "maybe there's somebody faster than Barry" OH NO! Narrative?
