got invited to a coworker/friend's house for dinner tonight. and im so nervous to go.

i dont know why social situations make me feel so anxious. i just feel like they are secretly judging me or wish i didnt actually show up. or that i was invited out of pity.

i'm really really trying to not back out and stay home.

My anxiety is already really bad but now they keep talking everywhere about my country having to prepare for a possible war, which is my BIGGEST fear. I'm already avoiding the news lately but I still come across it almost daily and it's making my anxiety so much worse because it used to feel impossible but now it's so real and one misstep from other wars and we'll go to war too. And I'm in the age group that will be called to the army - though thankfully my autism will get me disqualified for it

I feel as if I have made a statement within the community here… yet I’m still scared to send asks to people because I think they’ll find me weird… like I’m on the very edge of just never asking a question to people again because I feel like I was just too much :3

I try and remember that It's Never That Serious but every once and a while it actually /is/ That Serious so over time my Internal Seriousness Assessment Device has been thrown wildly off calibration and may as well be considered Completely Broken
