u know who absolutely would flirt with alfred and mean it? Hal. He spends half his time around aliens, a hot 70 year old is not going to give him the ick
Alfred is used to hot 30-something’s trailing after Bruce hitting on him for fun, so his typical response is a more elegant and refined version of “put your money where your mouth is.”
Except Hal Jordan does the math, shrugs, and says alright. I’m game.
📝What if alastor was a siren luring sailors? (just a silly au idea i thought about lol)
I'm going to make a safe guess and say this is the same person. I did see your previous ask, I just hadn't answered it yet because I don't have many good ideas.
Alastor's character is built off of how he interacts with others. Being a manipulative serial killer asshole only works when he's with others, and once you take him out of that environment, you lose a lot of what makes him Alastor.
While this au idea is fun, it's simply not the kind of thought experiment I would usually gravitate to, so I can't offer many ideas. Someone could write it, just not me.
If Alastor were a siren, he would simply be a good siren. If you want me to expand on this idea, I would end up fabricating further worldbuilding that might incorporate more ideas; perhaps Alastor, as a siren, still has ways of connecting to radio, allowing him to lure people inland out to sea. That could be how Vox even ended up as a sailor.
Vox didn't know what it was that drew him to the sea.
He was a city boy. He knew nothing of the taste of the sea, nothing about hard work, or what it took to sail a boat. Everyone had called him insane for leaving his life behind to come to some nowhere coastal city.
When he'd spent his first few nights sleeping on a bed that was stiff as a board, choking down tasteless slop, he had almost regretted it. When he'd finally gotten his way onto a ship's crew, however, he had never felt more free.
It had started a few years, around the same time that new radio station cropped up. It was like a calling, something drawing him to the sea, a hidden voice that would have him gazing out his window, as if the sky would give him answers as to what was out there.
Finally, out on the sea itself, he had never felt closer. When he was told to pull ropes and tie knots, he kept his gaze on the open ocean, watching for some kind of sign.
That's the kind of beginning I would expect from a story like that, but again, I really don't have any ideas on what the plot would be. Alastor isn't interesting as a siren, though Vox could be fun as a sailor. More fun if Alastor were absent entirely, though.
I think this one's a little difficult hehe, but not because the question is bad per se but rather, I'm not inversed into the topic itself, I mean, I did some research to have knowledge about the topic but given my lack of expertise in the topic, I apologize if this doesn't meet up what you may hope to read.
Hm let's see, first of all Ferid at first does look and fit in the criteria of ASPD, however determinating a character's health does seem a bit more complex than what it seems like.
What do I mean?
Let's take in consideration that Ferid has lived for many years, the he who was human vs the he who spent around 70 years until he could reconstruct his body again changed a lot.
The "he" who was young and put an end to his parents life...the reason beneath it could be related to the aspect that Ferid is fully aware he's been in a constant cycle of reincarnation and wants to put an end to it. (Of course, I'm not justifying his actions)
Back in his youth, he sought answers, given the knowledge he had to some extent, he sought loyal soldiers to fight by his side and he did obtain them. Even when he looked for the immortal, he ordered his men to retreat.
But given the aspect or immortality he obtained, he sought to put an end to it, and in order to obtain something in a world that is deemed as unfair, morality is something completely discarted in relation to the grown ups.
The end justify the means pretty much.
To conclude, I can't entirely say yes to this question, so I do believe if you consider it as a possibility, that's fine.
