April 1956. Dean and Jerry are on their "honeymoon" (again with these references to a married couple) while Dean and Jeanne have broken up again. I wrote it some time ago. When Dean argued with Jeanne he got along with Jerry. And vice versa.

What really happened after that April 1956? Three months before their breakup those two were on their "honeymoon"… so 1) they got along 2) they speak to each other.

And whoever wants to divide does not sign a new five-year contract!

Monaco, April 1956: ‘Old bottles of cognac are intended as a gift from the wedding couple [Grace Kelly & Prince Rainier] for particularly selected guests. This cognac was distilled before the French Revolution (1789) and is so dignified and valuable that no bottle has been given away or opened according to strict instructions from the cellar master for over 40 years.’

I always wonder if Grace Kelly really knew what she was in for marrying Rainier III, Prince of Monaco on April 18, 1956. And what she was giving up. Looking back on it, I'm sure she was happy that day. But I find it bittersweet.

Dovima wears an evening gown from Sophie Gimbel's custom collection at Saks Fifth Avenue—a floating rose print on white silk taffeta with gray polka dots. The cut has the same finely crafted romanticism: slender sleeves, a delicately open neckline, and all the skirt you need to make a beautiful figure dance. The diamonds, pearls, and platinum: jewelry by David Webb. The car: a 1956 125 Crown Imperial.
