I like to think about all the “what if?” questions you could ask about Arcane

What if Jayce hadn’t gotten through to Viktor? Would someone else have been able to stop him?

What if Mel hadn’t discovered her abilities as a mage in time? Would Caitlyn have been shot? Would Ambessa and the Noxians win the battle against Piltover?

What if there was more time/seasons? What if there was enough time to show Ekko’s Z-Drive having dire consequences for changing the past/future?

What if Ekko hadn’t gotten through to Jinx? Would he have died alongside her in her workshop? Would he have escaped and left her?

What if Caitlyn had managed to actually kill Jinx? Would there be anything salvageable between her and Vi? Would Caitlyn have spiraled into madness over killing her? Feel all or zero remorse?

What if Jinx never went to look for Vi after the events of S2 Act 1? Would Vi have succumbed to her alcoholism and died in a fight/ from some alcohol-related medical issues?

What if Viktor had actually managed to break through Vander’s mind and pull him out? Would he have stayed a big wolf guy? Or would the hair disappear and body size shrink back to normal?

What if Jinx stayed? Would she be able to make peace with Caitlyn? What would she do? Would she join Sevika on the sidelines? Continue to lead Zaun? Would Ekko join her in leading Zaun?

What if the kids had never broken into Jayce’s workshop? Would Jayce have even discovered the full power of Hextech? If Viktor never thought to join up with him? Would either of them have even stayed alive long enough to see? Or would they have ended their lives?

So many questions we’ll most likely never know the answers to.

This is why fanfics are so important lol. We get to answer these questions however we want to.
