Toyota - “Tactical Reconnaissance Development”(?!)
This (controversial) ad is referencing “Toyota War," a conflict in Chad during the 1980s where Toyota Hilux pickup trucks were heavily used as technicals (vehicles with mounted weapons). The ad depicts various generations of the Hilux from late ‘60’s release, implying its long history and association with armed conflict: a salute (pun intended) to the Toyota Hilux’s rugged reliability, flexibility and longevity.

Mathieu Molé
The son of Edouard Molé (d. 1614), who was for a time procureur-général, he was educated at the University of Orléans. Admitted conseiller in 1606, he was président aux requêtes in 1610, procureur-général in succession to Nicolas de Bellièvre in 1614, and took part in the assembly of the Notables summoned at Rouen in 1617. He fought in vain against the setting up of special tribunals, or commissions, to try prisoners charged with political offences, and for his persistence in the case of the brothers Louis and Michel de Marillac he was suspended in 1631, and ordered to appear at Fontainebleau in his own defense.
Authorities confirmed 773 bodies and 2,880 injured persons in Goma's morgues and hospitals, Congolese government spokesperson Patrick Muyaya
At least 773 people were killed in eastern Congo's largest city of Goma and its vicinity this week amid fighting with Rwanda-backed rebels who captured the city in a major escalation of a decadelong conflict, Congolese authorities said Saturday. The rebels' advance into other areas was slowed by a weakened military that recovered some villages from them. Authorities confirmed 773 bodies and 2,880 injured persons in Goma's morgues and hospitals, Congolese government spokesperson Patrick Muyaya told a briefing in the capital, Kinshasa, adding that the death toll could be higher.

As far as I can tell there seem to be about 112 armed conflicts currently taking place in the world.
Some of these conflicts hardly ever get a mention in international news broadcasts. The BBC radio coverage is poor, occasionally spotty. The BBC World Service News is better than the BBC Radio Four News. Television news is useless. American stations are rubbish. France 24 and Al Jazeera are sometimes good.
Trying to understand the reasons why these various regions is extremely complicated. Some conflicts are classified either as "international" or "non-international" and some of these regions have multiple conflicts taking place within their borders.
This information is from Geneva Academy website: https://geneva-academy.ch/galleries/today-s-armed-conflicts
In the Middle East and North Africa there are armed conflicts in Cyprus, Egypt, Iraq, Israel, Libya, Morocco, Palestine, Syria, Turkey, Yemen and Western Sahara.
In the remainder of Africa there are armed conflicts in Burkina Faso, Cameroon, the Central African Republic (CAR), the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia, Mali, Mozambique, Nigeria, Senegal, Somalia, South Sudan and Sudan.
In Asia there are armed conflicts in Afghanistan, India, Myanmar, Pakistan and The Philippines. Plus international incidents of soldiers being shot dead in the conflicts between, respectively: India and Pakistan, and between India and China.
In Europe and Eurasia Russia is currently occupying Crimea (Ukraine), Transnistria (Moldova), as well as South Ossetia and Abkhazia (Georgia), while Armenia is occupying parts of Nagorno-Karabakh (Azerbaijan). Europe is also the theatre of an international armed conflict (IAC) between Ukraine and Russia, and of two non-international armed conflicts (NIACs) in Ukraine opposing governmental forces with the self-proclaimed ‘People’s Republics’ of Donetsk and Luhansk in eastern Ukraine.
South and Central America: The six non-international armed conflicts that are taking place in the region are split evenly between Mexico and Colombia.
