Back from basic ...

Hey there fellow tumblr-ers! I'm back! Where have I gone? Basic combat training (bct). Let me tell you, it was annoying as shit. I didn't mind the smoke sessions and the 4-5 hours worth of sleep, what really got to me was the fact that the females there are inexperienced with life. They walk around naïve, as if everything should be handed to them. A lot of females come into the army thinking it's an easy way out but it's not. Everything I achieved, I worked hard for it. It was NOT easy but as you can see, it's possible. I graduated basic combat training on 13 May 2015 and I couldn't be happier. I met amazing people and made great friends. Charlie company is my family. Everyday for 10 weeks they were right beside me. I was in a company with the kind of people who ran with me just so I won't give up, people who cared enough to talk to me when they noticed I was down, people who always motivated each other. We won honor company, the inspection and BRM (basic rifle marksmanship) Our first sergeant always said "It's not what you do, it's what you get done". Charlie company got things done. I am beyond happy that I joined the army. Life would've passed me by and I would've missed out on this awesome experience. So thank everyone who supported me and continues to support me today. I won't let you down, I won't let myself down. I am forever a Charlie Rock soldier. #Hooah #ArmyPride
