“hey can you watch my phone? i gotta go ask jaehyun for something, i’ll be back.” bestfriend!donghyuck nods his head as you climb out from the lunch table.

once you’re a good distance away, donghyuck steals your phone and plays with it, taking a couple selfies and pictures of jaemin that you could definitely, use for blackmail.

“hey jaem..” donghyuck calls quietly to his friend across from him, “you don’t think y/n has a boyfriend, right?”

jaemin looks up from his phone and laughs at the worried boy in front of him. “dude, what makes you think that?”

donghyuck then taps your phone screen and slides it over, showing jaemin a picture of a small boy sitting in front of a patch of red and yellow flowers, holding a peace sign with a smile on his face.

jaemin leans his head onto his hand and looks at the photo, then back at donghyuck, eyebrow raised with confusion.

“look, like i know it could be like their nephew or their cousin or something but, what if it’s like.. ya know???” he tries to explain but jaemin is just having too much fun watching him struggle.

“you’re so funny hyuck.” he laughs and turns your phone back on. how could hyuck not know who that is?

“chill hyuckie, y/n doesn’t have a boyfriend, they just stan kim namjoon!” jaemin explains in between giggles before laughing at the relieved face of his best friend across from him. how did he not notice it was his idol, the kim namjoon’s baby photo.

“oh thank god.” donghyuck lets out a breath he didn’t know he was even holding before snatching your phone out his hand.

“YOU WERE SO SCARED!” jaemin literally cannot. won’t let donghyuck forget about this anytime soon.

“ok but really, i’m tired of watching you be such a loser. just ask them out already!!” jaemin goes on as donghyuck glares at him, he can’t even take his own advice for his huge crush on jeno!

“HUH? ask who out?” you ask, slowly crawling back into your spot at the table. donghyuck’s ears turn red.

“oh! nothing haha” *slides phone over while blushing*
