What is it? It's a term which describes someone who was never shown affection as a child, and, therefore, shows affection in more romantic ways, even towards people they don't feel romantic feelings towards, this mainly being flirting.

Figuring out I was aromantic has given me a lot more freedom in my personal relationships. I can flirt with men and be upfront about not wanting anything committed without guilt! It's so much more fun now to sext and banter and be myself, cause I no longer feel pressure to tack on some lovey-dovey crap or pretend to want more from them than I actually do.
This shit is liberating.
