Yup that's right, Sonic the Hedgehog is an asexual (or aroace) in my headcanon and you can't change a thing about it. I'm right, you're wrong, go home. 😆
Come to think of it, hints of his asexuality stem from the fact that he has no time to slow down for a relationship. He's always out running across the world, foiling the notorious schemes of his arch-enemy Dr. Eggman. Plus, he doesn't have time to go out on dates with any of the girls canon-wise, especially Amy. And even when he does, he gets sent to the Arthurian world while waiting for her at a chili dog stand. It's all a pure coincidence. 😅
While he does have romantic implications, especially with Princess Elise (even if her debut game's events were erased by the end), I don't think he's quite ready to settle down for a long-term relationship yet. He's only 15, so that's a bit of a gap between the age of consent and all that. And even when he does become +18, he just loves to run around more than start dating someone out of the blue. It's just how he lives.
