Confession #1119
How many of the Rogues would you say have other heroes on the side? Like Mirror Master and Animal Man, Trickster with Blue Devil.
Hartley and Wally, of course, and Wally with Len and Lisa. Lisa was flirting hard with Wally at one point...and arguably Len was too.
Mick with Kon-El and Guardian (Jim Harper) while they were all at Cadmus. Mick also became friends with Barry and refused to give up the Flash's secret identity to Goldface, and even lived with Barry briefly while Goldface was hunting them both.
Evan and Batman, or at least they briefly worked together when Batman paid him to betray the Injustice Gang.
James and Wally had something of a frenemy relationship. They even briefly worked together with a frenemy vibe when Wally was Kid Flash.
Al was good friends with Barry, even if his alters complicated things.
Owen with the Outsiders and with Supergirl (Kara), and he tried to form bonds with Tim Drake even though Tim wasn't having it.
Roscoe and Barry, but that wasn't voluntary on Roscoe's part. They did work together for weeks, though.
After Flashpoint, Len and Barry had something of an uneasy friendship, and Lisa teamed up with and was flirting with Barry during Year Of The Villain.
Sam risked his life to rescue Bolt (Malik, not Larry), who he thought was an ordinary kid, and he forged some pretty strong bonds with Rick Flagg and Peacemaker in one of the Suicide Squad books.
For the art game: 8 and 26.
8. What's an old project idea that you've lost interest in
The first story I wanted to tell was called Rune & Ruin and i spent soooo much time on the characters and worldbuilding only to burnout before ever actually starting anything. It's on the back burner for now but I'd like to revisit it one day. Maybe as an RPG. The story I tried to write after that was called Star-Crossed and it was going to be about "reincarnating soulmates" as a negative thing where one of the "chosen ones" was already in a very fulfilling relationship with someone else. Spoiler alert, was gonna end in polyamory. But I started that one only a few months before I got hit with the RG train and don't think I'll revisit it again.
26. What's a piece that got a wildly different interpretation from what you intended
Well... didn't expect to find this one on reddit, let alone the comment section (warning for nsfw) 😂😂😂
Ruby & Oscar or Weiss & Penny for palette swap! 🥀❄️🤖🌲
Did Oscar and Ruby because I thought their colors would work well with each other, and I was right
If you wanna ask for Weiss and Penny separately though, I’ll see what I can do!
Rosegarden for your dumb rating
I like Rosegarden! It is cute, among other things!
Ruby, of course, is a deeply empathetic and compassionate individual. Time and Time again she comforts others, especially Oscar when he gets targeted for stuff he didn't do. Ruby reaffirms Oscar as his own person constantly, just like she does with Penny.
And Oscar, in turn, believes Ruby. He stands by her and her decisions, always tries to pick her up when she's down, and trusts her implicitly.
Other have waxed poetic about these two far better than I care to, but I love them, they are fantastic, and Rosegarden is cute, but not limited to Fluff.
You see, with the merge, Oscar might not always be himself. That would put any Relationship he has on a Timer. Angsty!
Doesn't have to be fluff all the time, but These two deserve some fluff after Oscar's Tortures sessions, and Ruby's attempted suicide.
Rosegarden Gets a Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup/Microwave Ramen.
In general I don't care too much about Ruby being a romantic relationship, But Rosegarden is equal to NND's to me, and they tie for first in terms of Ruby ships, even if I don't give these two the attention they deserve.
They actually ran into some trouble with this episode.
damn? forreal??
these some wild censors, yo
looking at the tumblr version of the antisemitic "satire" article & of course all our regulars are there.
poor little maswartz who already spoke over us as jewish people when we spoke on how camp camp was incredibly antisemitic for how it trivialised & mocked the jewish suffering during the shoah.
& look, crimson-caracal, it's been so long dumb dumb & your cheerleader donut house is in the notes too. is this your next step from telling a jewish person to stick their head in an oven? now jewish people in the fndm, whether rwde or not because it doesn't fucking matter, "deserve" antisemitic "satire" that trivialised the actions of the nazi, especially ss soldiers, during the shoah? or to be consistently retraumatized by the site of that armband, a hate symbol, being used to mock a fictional character & nevermind the generational trauma it triggers?
would any of the people agreeing with this do so if it held antiblack caricatures of slavery, or antiasian caricatures of ww2 propaganda? mhmm.
you don't get to speak over jewish people or accuse people of being antisemitic, especially when they are jewish, when you are a goyim. you are not jewish, you will never be jewish & our trauma is not there for "jokes" from any of you, end of.
What would the Riders think about Revi and Vice's remix forms?
I think these pics sum up what anyone would think of those forms... especially, ahem, certain ones.
