Hello! I hope you are having a lovely day. Recently, my aunt who is an amateur astrologer found that I have both Saturn and Aries in the 12th house. And for some reason she didn't like it and she didn't even explain why... Do you happen to know the reason? I am an Aquarian with Gemini rising if that helps. Thank you!
saturn the planet of restrictions and karma :
12th house, is usually considered to be a heavy house, because it deals with everything that is unseen, and our past lives. usually it is very hard to understand and emits a heavy dreary elusive energy as everything associated with that house happens subconsciously and intuitively. 12th house rules dreams, secrets, our personal powers, our unseen enemies, past lives and our karma. that is why people with heavy 12th house often struggle to remain present and navigate this world as the 12th house if often so heavy that it demands all their energy.
having saturn in 12th house, is a difficult placement as it means you have a strong saturnian influence in both, your past lives as well as this one. saturn often teaches us the lessons we need to learn in our lives in a harsh manner. it'll be a bitter pill to swallow at first, but later you'll realize how important and pivotal that lesson was and how it has helped you. so you may deal with a lot of such situations, saturnian lessons which will pull you apart but put you together stronger and better than before.
and now coming to aries in 12th house. aries is all about self expression and moving forward. it's cardinal fire. it's already not in it's element, being in the house of deep piscean waters. but when you add saturn to that mix, it could bring a lot of doubts and anxieties in the realm of 12th house, mostly, religion and spirituality. because wherever aries falls in our chart s where we express ourselves. you could have a fear of unknown and anxiety issues. because saturn is all about control and the 12 house is anything but where we can exert control. it is mystic.
so these may have caused your aunt to have some worries as it is a bit of a difficult placement to deal with. but as i always say, nothing in astrology is an innately bad placement. some placements may be difficult to deal with but they too can be mastered and be transformed into our biggest strengths.
