heres two from my current ww fic: the curse of observance
this one was supposed to be in chapter 2? I believe. Noah was originally going to not ask Alejandro explain why he doesn't want to use his families money. This scene was the original outcome instead of the conversation we got.
-
Everything feels in slow motion.
He can see it. The moment Alejandro decides he’s safe and instead decides to spend the suspended time flickering over Noah’s features. First, back and forth, eye to eye, then lower, over his nose, mouth, chin-
There’s a click in Noah’s throat as he swallows.
Neck.
His gaze lingers there a moment. Longer than the stops before it. His nose flares and Noah swears he sees his eyes flash something other than green.
“That’s oddly…” Instantly, Alejandro gaze snaps back up in a daze, almost like he didn’t realize what he was doing.
Noah loses his voice. His vocabulary.
What was he going to say?
Amidst all the insanity he still manages to feel annoyed about it.
It was a really good word.
Chest puffing, Alejandro clears his throat. “Virtuous of me?” The charm is thick and palpable in the air. Noah nearly chokes on the ease that he switches it back on. “Noble?”
I’m waiting, his posture says.
Say your shitty remark, his expression yells.
That he can do. It is so much easier to deal with pompous, fake Alejandro. That is familiar and, as crazy as it sounds, comforting. Alejandro is always self-absorbed. That is something he knows how to respond to and knows he can do well.
“Aaaaand you neutralized it.” Despite his tone, Noah is smiling. Air rushes into him greedily as he relaxes his shoulders. Yeah, this is much more manageable. “Back to narcissist.”
Alejandro laughs again, smile just as big, but eyes somewhere else.
-
spoilers for curse of observance below
this one was original plan for ch 5. instead, Noah doesn't actually say these things and more so chickens out. I didn't find their almost light shyness super palatable personally. :P
-
“I miss you.”
Alejandro’s heart feels like it’s going to explode out of his chest. His cheeks warm and his claws actually do snip at the sleeves of his shirt. Poking a tiny hole in the cloth of his sweater. He hides them away carefully, trying his best not to nick anything else.
It was spoken too low for the average person to have fully heard it, but Alejandro caught every single syllable. Replays them over in his head twice.
“Sorry, what did you say?”
Noah frowns. “I know you heard me, asshole.”
“You miss me?”
“Yes. It’s annoying.” He states plainly, but his heart is louder than it’s ever been. Fighting Alejandro’s own in a distracting versus. “So stop avoiding me.”
Against his better judgement, Alejandro replies, “I missed you too.” And he swears his heart stops for a full second.
“Alright!” Noah practically explodes in shy discomfort, never the one for anything friendly, let alone beyond. “We exchanged our thoughts. Glad we cleared that up. Stop avoiding me.”

Summary: When Eun Woo wants to protect you, but you just want him to relax and enjoy.
A/N: This was inspired by this prompt.
The mountains that surrounded the city reflected the colors of the sky more clearly, as if they were its own starless, self-lit expanse, lacking only by the hardy winter trees. Looking at them brought a feeling of peace and tranquility, protection even, because no one would dare tarnish such beauty. But it was not the splendor that prevented the invaders.
The few who tried to cross them quickly understood the dangers that probed the ground covered with frozen water in crystalline form. A sound at the wrong time would cause the crime to be covered by the cold, deadly hands of the natural shield of that small royal town.
The entire realm, in fact, was devastatingly beautiful and intimidating, hidden between mountains and valleys, protected by nature more than by guards and armies. They didn't need to get unstuck much to deter invaders and thieves. Never, in all its grand history, had the kingdom of Hanian been so threatened as to demand extra protection from any royal or its subjects.
Therefore, the citizens of Etherna, the royal city, did not understand the gravity of the situation and continued to offer their grandiose balls and banquets, to which the royal family could not refuse to participate, as the flaunting would be more dangerous than the possible invaders.
Also, there was the fact that this city was the most protected and the most difficult to enter or leave. Which in itself was a danger, as escape was unlikely. Even so, they were all gathered in the magnanimous gardens of Lady Khmer's mansion, dancing to flutes and violins.
"Would it kill you to relax?" you provoked your personal guard.
Since before you left the palace, Eun Woo had been alert, rigid, ready to attack anyone who got in your way (which almost happened when one of the guests who had already arrived at the dance drunk bumped into you and fell in front of you). Cha Eun Woo was the best guard in all of Hanian, assigned to you to protect the sole heir to the throne, but the fact that he was inordinately good bothered you a little, mostly because you would do anything to see a smile on his perfectly shaped lips.
“Probably,” he responded to your teasing, still scanning his surroundings as if searching for some hidden killer. “Likely it would kill you too. That's rather the point."
You smiled. Eun Woo's acid humor and straightforward responses were the traits you liked best about him. Of course, you also appreciated the symmetrical face and satin skin, with eyes so expressive they made up for the constant serious and focused countenance. The body was also not to be thrown away, with defined muscles and prepared for any battle.
“I'll risk it,” you said, drawing the guard's gaze to you, and held out a hand. “Dance with me.”
Eun Woo frowned and didn't move, noting the gloved hand in front of him.
Before he even opened his mouth to respond, you already knew what the words would be, so you just spoke before him: "It's an order."
A deep sigh was the only clue to the tormented state of your personal guard, as he remained serious and alert as he gave in to your request and took your hand to lead you onto the dance floor.
The smile on your lips deepened when you saw Eun Woo sigh once more at the scandalized looks of the other guests. It wasn't the first time you decided to shock royalty by dancing with your personal guard. In fact, that was your most common rebellious act and you didn't understand how the nobles and burghers weren't used to it yet.
“Look at me,” you ordered as Eun Woo's dark orbs scanned the hall on your first lap of the track.
He didn't sigh this time, just looked into your eyes and stayed that way for the rest of the time. The muscles were still stiff under your hands, a clear indication that he was still prepared to jump in front of an arrow to defend you.
“I'm not going to tell you to relax,” you stated, realizing that your words had exactly the opposite effect.
That was your best-known trick, at least between the two of you. After so many years as monarch and personal guard, you and Eun Woo had forged a kind of friendship that no one in the realm understood. Sometimes even you didn't understand. However, you came to appreciate the man in front of you so much that you used every resource in your power to make him relax and have fun whenever you could. Eun Woo never complained, not even to his companions, who often blurted out near you that Eun Woo had already commented on appreciating your dedication to his mental health.
He had never questioned you either. From the first time you had tried to make him relax, Eun Woo had accepted your orders like any other, as if your every word mattered. Until this moment, of course...
“Why are you doing this?” he asked, his husky voice invading your senses and raising the hairs on the back of your neck.
"I don't like to see you so stiffened."
"I have a duty here, Your Highness." Despite the firm tone of voice, you could feel that he was dancing calmly, as you intended. “If anything happens to you because I was careless for a minute…”
“Nothing will happen,” you interrupted him. “We are in the most protected kingdom in the world, in the most difficult city to penetrate. I have the best guard ever.”
“None of this is a guarantee…”
“If someone breaks a plate somewhere, you will stop your steps, put me behind your back, and verify who was responsible so you can kill or forgive. If a hum invades the melody that surrounds us, you will scan the surroundings with those deep eyes and find the reason to decide whether to hide me or continue dancing.”
"Your Highness..."
“I'm well protected,” you wouldn't let him speak and stiffen again. After all the turmoil your kingdom was going through, you and Eun Woo, as well as everyone in the royal family, deserved that night's rest. "I have you so I'm fine."
He sighed again, this time more softly. And for a split second, you saw the corners of his beautiful lips move upwards as if they were trying to smile.
“You overestimate me,” he said, causing you to snap back to reality and stop dreaming of a completely relaxed Cha Eun Woo.
“No, I'm a realist. It's different,” you replied, still smiling.
You were silent again, enjoying the last chords of the waltz that lulled you. Eun Woo was by far the best dance partner you've ever had and the fact that you talked and interacted in those few minutes made it the dance you'd most enjoyed in your entire life.
When you left the dance floor and returned to the secluded and sheltered corner you were at before, you treasured that night even more, as it was the first time Eun Woo had held your hands together for so long after the dance. He only released you when you were stopped and alone again.
“Your Highness,” he called softly, drawing your eyes to the perfect face that didn't even resemble that of a royal guard. "I appreciate your concern and I admit that perhaps I overreacted tonight."
Even though your eyes widened at the unexpected words, you managed to control yourself in time to joke and say, "Perhaps?"
This time, contrary to everything you knew and recognized about Cha Eun Woo, the smile rehearsed on the dance floor actually appeared on the guard's face, reaching his dark eyes, which thinned as they smiled along with his lips. Your heart raced in such a way that you thought you were having a cardiac arrhythmia.
"As I was saying," he continued, keeping the corners of his lips raised and your heart pounding, "I may have overreacted tonight, but I need to ask you not to distract me again."
“What? Why?" You didn't understand. You even won a smile with your endeavor, how could he not want you to do that again?
"I cannot lose you."
Frustrated, you took a deep breath and huffed, clenching your hands into fists before you began gesturing as you said, "I already told you, I know I'm well protected..."
"You'll always be," it was Eun Woo's turn to interrupt you, "that's not the point."
"Then what is?" you asked, moving closer to him when you noticed the smile leaving that face you cherished so much. "Why can't you just have a little fun with me?"
“But I have fun with you all the time…”
“Eun Woo…”
“Your Highness,” he spoke pointedly, cutting off any argument that began with his name that would make him keep silent if you ordered him to. "I wouldn't forgive myself."
“What are you talking about?" you asked, furrowing your brow.
Again, he sighed. Then, once again contradicting your expectations and shocking anyone who looked at you, including yourself, he placed his hands on your shoulders to stop the advance you kept making towards him. But he kept you close enough that the whispered words that came out of his mouth could only be heard by you.
“I can, yes, pay close attention to my surroundings and protect you faster than any other royal guard, but even I have my limits, and having you in my arms, looking at the smile that paints your face, is a very powerful distraction.” Once again, your eyes widened at the words. “At any other day, any other time,” he continued, “I wouldn't mind not resisting you. But we are facing a unique threat, an enemy that knows how to penetrate our defenses that should be impenetrable. I can't afford the distraction. If I lose you, I won't forgive myself.”
That was definitely the longest speech that Cha Eun Woo had given you in all your years together. Not only because there were so many words, but also because there was still so much he was saying between the lines. And it was everything you've dreamed of hearing since setting eyes on that perfect-in-every-way guard.
You knew you could never ask for more from him than that, knew you could never get what you really wanted from him because it wouldn't be fair for you not to be able to give it back. Your eyes filled with tears at the realization that you couldn't respond to unspoken words. Your lips trembled with the force you took to hold back the answer that was on the tip of your tongue. You loved him. With all your might. Nor would you forgive yourself if you lost him.
So you understood and accepted his argument, nodding once firmly so that he could see that you were agreeing without saying anything. Eun Woo watched your face and opened his eyes a little wider than usual, in his own expression of surprise, before reluctantly releasing your shoulders and taking two steps away.
“I promise not to distract you anymore,” you finally managed to say.
"Thank you," he muttered, looking away from you and taking in his surroundings.
Once again, you looked at the icy mountains that surrounded the city and wished that protection was enough to bring peace to Eun Woo's mind and body, you prayed to any of the gods that the threat would be neutralized so that your guard could relax in your arms again.
You smiled then, looking back at Eun Woo, who once again had the mask of concentration and seriousness on his face.
"But can't we even take a walk in the gardens?"
"Sure," he responded to your teasing, "I can put a target in your head too if you like."
[11:58] You pull a face at the slight quivers running through Rocky as he laid on his side, trying to sleep through his transition. 'You know you won't be able to sleep, Minhyuk. You are never able to and this is,' you pause to check an imaginary watch. 'The 5th month you've tried.' Rocky growls, his well-proportioned human body changing into his sleek wolf form gradually.
'I can't sleep if you're talking to me.' He grumbles, hissing under his breath. 'You can't sleep regardless was my point.' Rocky sighs, feeling the last few minutes change him entirely into his wolf form, a dark colour, almost a navy in the light completed with dark brown eyes. He then sat up on the bed, shaking his coat out and using his tongue to smooth out his messy fur, much like a cat would. A soft grumble echoed through his chest once he was as happy as he could be with his coat, looking up.
The transition was over- and you had been correct. He couldn't sleep during his transition (it was too painful, though he refused to show it) but that wouldn't every stop him from trying. His attention was moved when you spoke, standing up from his sitting position and lightly jumping down from the bed to follow you to wherever you were going. 'Okay, come on.' You stand from the bed, walking to the front door to let Rocky go and satisfy his instincts. 'Stay safe.' You mutter as he sprints into the darkness of midnight. A moment later, you hear a powerful howl and shut the door, awaiting his return.
Summary: Reader (Y/N) is a secret agent assigned to work undercover as an intern to gather information about the sketchy forensic science team that collects data for the police department. She gets to be mentored by the head scientist-detective, Cha Eunwoo.
“We’ll leave you with the team for about 6 months. Here’s your personal data, inside includes everything that makes up your undercover persona.” Chief says, handing me a brown envelope. “You’ll be an intern, we’ve submitted your records to the facility and they’re expecting you today. Hopefully, you’ll be taken care of well there. Try to find out as much as you can about the team and their head scientist.” He goes on explaining to you what you can’t and can do.
No giving away your real identity. No sharing of classified information. No falling in-love. No secret ties. No unfulfillable promises to anyone. Basically don’t be stupid. In 6 months, gather as much information about the team. Try to get hands-on with their projects. Report everything at the end of the week.
You, dressed work formal in a suit, get out of the car and walk into the precinct. You’re greeted by a tall, dark-haired man in a sweater with files and a cup of cofffee. Casual? He holds the door open for you as he reads a sheet of paper in his hands. He then scurries away.
“You must be Althea Venn, the forensic intern.” A middle-aged man greets you.
Name: Althea Maybelline Venn
“Yes! Good morning.” You smile.
The man smile back. “My name is Miles, the head of the forensic department. I’ll be your boss.” Is he the target? “I’m not sure if the entire team is there yet since it’s only 7:30, usually they arrive around 8.” He says, with his hand on his chin, as if he was thinking. “But I think Eunwoo is there already, he’s always early.” He laughs and asks you to follow him to the office.
You take the elevator to the top floor and then the stairs going up. “We like to keep the lab and office upstairs where its open and free so it doesn’t make the entire building stuffy.” He explains. You both arrive at the room top and walk to a room with pretty high ceilings. The room was full of test tubes, machines and sciencey stuff.
“So, Althea, this is the forensic lab and office, its where-” He gets cut off by his phone ringing. “Hold on, I have to take this.” He excuses himself and leaves the room to take the call.
You take a look around, scanning the room for all the evidence, open files, prints and samples you could find. An open folder catches you eye. You walk toward it, and take a glance.
“Excuse me?” You hear a male voice say. You’re caught off guard and stand up straight right away to greet the man. “What are you-” He stops talking, then continues to say “Oh, you’re the girl from earlier at the entrance.” He says. He walks toward a desk to put his coffee down then proceeds to you where he finds the open file. “Snooping on files?” He interrogates you.
You’re at a loss for words.
He laughs, breaking his straight face. “Bet you thought you were in trouble.” He says, sliding the files toward him and taking a look at them. “I think these are a copy of your data actually.” You give him a puzzled look. “Althea?”
You two sit down by a desk. He opens the folder of paper with all your fake information on it. “You’re the new intern, huh? Do you have any idea what we do here?” He asks. You shake your head. He lets out a light scuff. “Well, Althea, I’m Eunwoo, the head of the forensics team. I’ll be guiding you through everything we do.” He smiles, closing the folder.
“Eunwoo?” You repeat. He nods his head. “It’s nice to meet you, sir.” You say.
“Oh, no need for formal credentials. We’re all pretty chill and casual here.” He says. “Which is why I didn’t think much of you when I saw you earlier. I thought you were a new detective cause you were wearing a suit.” He chuckles. “I’ll introduce you to the rest of the team when they arrive, but for now, you can just relax. I’ll just test a few samples.” He says, standing from his chair and walking toward the lab area.
You take a glance around the room and then immediately snap yourself back into the reality that you’re on a mission. Miles comes back into the room. He looks at you then at Eunwoo who was busy working, gives you a thumbs-up and leaves once again.
“Althea.” Eunwoo calls out. Yeah, you forgot that was you. “Hello? Earth to Althea?” He says, trying to catch your attention. When you finally snap into your senses and stand up and ask what he needs. He laughs, “Could you check the pile of folders on my desk for someone named Jason Dean?”
You run through about 4 folders before you find Jason Dean’s file. You take it to Eunwoo. And he explains to you how the blood found on a piece of evidence matched with Dean.
“See, since he’s an old criminal, we already have his file.” He says. “This case we’re testing on is another homicide. And they he’s a suspect because they found his car about 7 feet away from where the victim was found deceased.” You try your best to understand the information. “So, since his blood was found, he’s one of the top suspects.”
“If you hadn’t found that evidence, would he still be a suspect?” You ask. “What if he was just around the area?” You continue, as if you were defending him.
Eunwoo chuckles. “You really are something. Defending an ex-convict.” He says while trying pour a chemical into the blood sample. Before you could defend yourself, he drops the tube and it spills on the counter.
You take a cloth from the other side of the counter and motion to wipe it off. He grabs yous arm before you got to close. “Don’t touch it.” He says, sounding concerned. “It might give you a chemical burn.” He takes the cloth from you and wipes all the liquid off. He was wearing gloves.
After, he tries to pick up all the glass that shattered. “Learn from me, focus on whatever you’re doing.” He laughs lightly. You help him pick up the glass, and you feel a sharp pain in your hand. You lightly groan and look down to see the glass sticking out of your hand.
Eunwoo looks at you and asks you to sit down. He comes back carrying a first aid-kit. He brings out a pair of tweezers and carefully extracts the glass from your hand. “You should be more careful.” He says sounding really concern.
“Sorry.” He looks at you and shakes his head, saying “No, don’t be sorry.”
After cleaning the wound, he puts a minions-designed band-aid on it.
“Really? Minions?” You laugh.
“Hey, minions are like the best thing ever.” He defends his love for minions, making you laugh even more.
He looks at you as you laugh your ass off.
It was lunch time. You were sat down by the desk after the accident until Eunwoo asked you to read up on a certain case and review the pieces of evidence that was gathered.
“I’ll just finish transferring these and we can have lunch, alright?” Eunwoo says, continuing to work with chemicals. “Alright.” You tell him.
As soon as he finished, he takes his surgical gloves off and tosses them in the trash. “Lets go.” He says, grabbing his phone and wallet and proceeding outside. You follow him.
As you both walk downstairs, he checks his phone and sighs. “The rest of the team isn’t going today.”
“Why not?
“It was Friday yesterday, they probably went out drinking again.”
“You don’t drink?”
“I do, with the right people.”
“What does that mean?”
“They’re a little to wild for me.” He chuckles in embarrassment.
“What did you do last night?” You put emphasis on you. “Read?”
He stays silent and you burst into laughter.
“My mentor is middle aged mom.” You tease. And he just goes along and laughs with you.
You then arrive at a burger place, shake shack. You both order shackburger and cola.
“So tell me about yourself.” Eunwoo says, munching on his burger.
“You have my data files, you should know everything about me.” You smirk.
“To be fair, all that includes is your basic information, background of study, list of certifications and achievements and the letter saying why you think you should be allowed to intern with us.” He explains.
“That’s my entire life.” You laugh, and he rolls his eyes on you. “Alright well what do you want to know?” You ask, then take a bite off your burger.
“I don’t know really.” He says, scratching the back of his neck. “How about just who you are in general?”
“My name is Althea Maybelline. I’m 23. I was able to rent out a studio apartment a few blocks away from the precinct. I’m very broke but I the guys who got me the internship give me a weekly allowance.” You tell him. He would nod after everything you said and look as if he was paying attention to you. “I really want to go around the city, I used to live in the UK so this is all pretty new.” You say with excitement in your eyes.
He would look at you with all attentiveness as you spoke.
You continue to tell him about how interested you are in learning so much more now that you’re here.
It had been awhile since someone actually listened to me, you thought.
“How about you tell me bout yourself?” You ask.
“Oh.” He almost coughs on his burger, making you giggle.
Your giggle makes him smile a little.
“Well, for starters, I’m Korean. I’m turning 25 in a few weeks. I live in a house also a couple of blocks away, with my baby cousin; her parents are abroad so I took her in.” He says, picking some fries. “I have pet fish.” He says, really excited and enthusiastically, which you giggle at.
“Stop laughing at me.” He says, laughing as well. “Anyway,” He continues. I usually get out of work early to pick my cousin up, but recently she’s been wanting to go home on her own.” He says as he looks out the window. “She’s growing up so fast, I can’t help but feel a little sad about it.” He says, smiling and shaking his head. He looks at you and catches you staring at him with bright eyes, so invested in his whole being. You both look away, and he breaks the awkwardness by asking you about your family
“When my parents split up, they went separate ways, making their own families and I guess they forgot about me. I worked most of the time while I was in high school and college, eventually graduating with honors. Then they contacted me and asked me to do things like this.” You say and then flinch and clear up, saying “internships and such.”
“Woah, I’m with a pretty cool girl.” He says, smiling at you.
“I’m nothing special.” You laugh.
“Whatever you say” He joins you laughing.

A/N: Hi Lovely ❤ Sorry for taking so long with this! School and Exams are over so now I have more time to write~ I hope you enjoy! -Admin Sierra
Were weddings fun to be at? You didn’t really think so at the beginning of the night. Your mother had dragged you along to one of her coworkers wedding, but ended up abandoning you at the table for most of the night while she mingled around with a glass of wine always present in her hand. Of course though, that wasn’t the end of the tragedies starting off the night. The son of the couple getting married was escorted to your table, courtesy of your lovely mother, and with that the two of you were left to sit together with the awkward atmosphere hanging in the air. To make matters worse, the two of you already knew each other, not that you were friends but just attending the same school as acquaintances. However, your feelings for him were more than that of an acquaintance, though nobody outside of your friends should know about that.
“So… I didn’t know our parents worked together! That’s pretty cool!” Myungjun had been trying his best to lift the mood between the two of you, but of course he wouldn’t know about the fact that your heart was pounding painfully in your chest just from having to sit with him.
“Yeah… Pretty cool….” Your voice was barely a whisper as it trailed back into silence, your eyes focused on watching the people huddled together on the dance floor sway around as the songs started to slow down for the night, the majority of the adults already had too much to drink.
“You want to dance?” Your eyes widened as you forced yourself to look back at Myungjun who was giving you a goofy smile, his eyes darting between you and the dance floor you had just been watching.
“N..No! I was just watching is all…” You were internally slapping yourself as you stuttered a bit at the beginning of your sentence, something that rarely happened unless you were extremely surprised or embarrassed.
“Come on!! Let’s go dance~,” Myungjun bounced out of his seat and it wasn’t long before he was prodding you up and towards the dance floor, regardless of the string of complaints trailing out of your mouth.
“Please… I really don’t…” Your eyes were nervously watching the adults who swayed around the two of you. Myungjun’s hands gently resting atop your shoulders, but he was holding with enough force that you couldn’t just slip away.
“Just one dance…” He puckered his lips and gave you the best puppy face he could muster, and well of course your face lit up like a tomato as your heart took off like a helicopter.
“…Fine..” You grumbled under your breath and your gaze dropped to the floor, in hopes of hiding your beet red face, but of course Myungjun could see it quite clearly and smiled brightly to himself. Sliding one arm around your waist and lacing the other hand with yours, he easily picked up the slow beat of the song and began to lead you effortlessly. There were a few times where you confused the steps and ended up stepping on his shoes, but he just simply laughed it off before pulling the two of you back into motion. You actually enjoyed yourself quite a lot and were glad that Myungjun was there to accompany you for the night, but when the song morphed into a slower dance, things took a different turn.
“I heard something at school the other day,” Myungjun had leaned forward so he could whisper right beside your ear, sending shivers down your spine.
“W..What did you hear?” Your face was bright red at this point and you were glad he couldn’t look you in the eyes right now.
“I heard.. Somebody has a crush on me..” Your eyes widened and your lungs were emptied of air, and you refused to inhale until he spoke once again.
“I’m surprised you hadn’t heard the rumour about my crush..” At this point, your heart broke into a million pieces. You thought you had kept your secret of your crush on him pretty well, but apparently you hadn’t, and know that he knew, he was suddenly confessing his love for his crush. Sucking in a gasp of air, you quickly pulled away from him, leaving him to tilt his head in confusion at your actions.
“I..I have to go find my mom now..” You turned around to hide your eyes that were now glistening with tears and began to walk away from the dance floor. You just lost your only reason to stay here any longer, and regardless of if your mom was ready, you were leaving. Before you could take more than a few steps, a hand clamped tightly around your wrist and gave you a light tug, your legs failing you as you stumbled back into the grasp of the one and only person you wanted to get away from at this moment.
“I guess you didn’t hear then… I didn’t imagine I would have to tell you myself,” You bit your lip to attempt to hold in your tears, which were now threatening to overflow.
“The certain someone I like happens to be in my arms right now,” The shock that ran through you sent your tears running loose down your cheeks, only to have Myungjun softly run his thumb across your face to wipe them before they could ruin your outfit. Was he teasing you because he knew about your crush? He had to be…
“You don’t believe me?” He could easily see the disbelief on your face, a sad look flashing across his features before his face lit up like a christmas tree. In only a matter of seconds, he had spun you around to face him and something soft pressed gently against your forehead, a sudden realization flashing in your mind as your eyes widened.
