How to start the festive season? Of course with a szamorodni and aszú tasting! The liquid gold! @kezdydaniel and @aszuprime organised an instructive tasting with 12 exceptional sweet wine from Tokaj. I gave every wine 90+ points, and 5 aszú got 96+!! points. Distinct vintages and winemakers which result in a huge difference in the style of the wines. It's interesting to explore how these wines can be in balance with lower or higher residual sugar. My favourite aszú wines: @demeter_zoltan_tokaj 2003 with 248 g/l r.s which is one of the best aszú which I ever tasted.
