Building a pillow fort with them

Dabi
Dabi walked into the room expecting quiet, only to stop at the sight of you sitting in the middle of a half-finished pillow fort.
Blankets were hanging unevenly from chairs, pillows scattered everywhere, and the whole thing looked one second away from collapsing.
He stared for a moment before letting out a dry scoff.
“What the hell is this supposed to be?”
“A fort,” you answered proudly, holding up one side before it immediately fell over again.
Dabi snorted at that, watching you struggle with it for another minute before clicking his tongue in annoyance.
“You seriously suck at this. I think you need to lock in.”
Without another word, he disappeared down the hallway and came back carrying an armful of pillows and another blanket.
He tossed them beside you carelessly before crouching down to help, grumbling the entire time about how “ridiculous” this was and how he wasn’t wasting his night building “some stupid kid thing.”
Still, every time part of it started collapsing, he fixed it before you could.
Eventually, the fort was actually decent — warm blankets overhead, pillows piled everywhere, and just enough room for both of you to stretch out inside.
Dabi shoved himself into the corner with another annoyed sigh, pulling part of the blanket over his lap.
“Tch. Happy now?” he muttered.
Not even twenty minutes later, you looked over to find him asleep beside you.
Hawks
Keigo had apparently spent the entire afternoon building “the ultimate fort.”
That’s what he called it, anyway.
In reality, it looked like a chaotic pile of blankets, pillows, snacks, hoodies, and loose feathers.
“Careful,” he laughed as you climbed in. “Took serious skill to make this.”
“You literally threw blankets on the floor.” you said sheepishly
“And yet you still got in.”
Before you could answer, Keigo grabbed your wrist and tugged you straight into the middle of the mess under him.
Though you quickly realized there was only one real comfortable spot to lay — directly under him.
Keigo looked way too pleased when you settled there anyway, one hand resting on your hip.
“Mhm,” he hummed smugly. “Exactly how I planned it.”
Tomura
Tomura was the one who suggested building a pillow fort.
What he failed to mention was that his version of “helping” meant throwing one thick blanket onto the floor and immediately laying down on it with his phone.
While you worked on actually building the fort, he stayed sprawled out beneath the unfinished roof playing League of Legends on low volume.
Every time a pillow fell or a blanket slipped, he barely even looked up.
“Tch. You suck at this,” he muttered, tapping at his screen.
A few minutes later another side collapsed.
“Wow. That one lasted, like...thirty seconds.”
You finally glared at him and dropped onto the blanket dramatically, giving up completely.
Tomura snorted quietly before shifting his phone into one hand.
“Come here already,” he grumbled, grabbing your wrist and pulling you down onto his chest like it was obvious that’s where you were supposed to be the whole time.
After that, he just kept playing on his phone with one arm loosely around you, occasionally resting his chin on your head whenever you moved too much. He just wanted cuddles in the very end.
Mr compress
Movie night with Atsuhiro somehow turned into him deciding that the two of you absolutely needed a pillow fort first.
Naturally, you tried to help.
The second you reached for a pillow, however, he gently took it from your hands.
"Ah, ah. None of that."
You blinked. "I just was helping."
"My dear, this is your evening." He smiled warmly. "Allow me to handle the difficult labor of carrying pillows."
A few minutes later, you tried again.
Once again, he stopped you.
"Absolutely not. Sit down."
"Atsuhiro—"
"Nope. You're the honored guest tonight."
By the third attempt, he simply pointed dramatically toward the bed.
"Relax and look pretty while I work."
The entire fort was finished ridiculously fast after that.
Blankets draped perfectly overhead, pillows stacked neatly along the sides, snacks within arm's reach, and enough room for both of you to stretch out comfortably inside.
You stared at it in surprise.
"...Have you done this before?"
"A magician never reveals his secrets."
With a theatrical bow, he held the blanket entrance open for you before following inside himself.
The moment you settled down, his dramatic composure melted away.
He wrapped an arm around your waist and pulled you comfortably against his side, resting his cheek on top of your head with a satisfied sigh.
"There we are," he murmured softly. "Now it's a proper movie night."
For someone who had spent the last half hour acting like a showman, he seemed perfectly content just staying there with you tucked against him while the movie played overhead.
Spinner
The power had gone out hours ago.
With nothing else to do, you and Spinner ended up sitting by the window listening to the frogs and crickets outside.
The conversation drifted from movies, to games, to random childhood stories neither of you had planned on sharing.
At some point, Spinner grabbed a blanket and tossed it over the two of you.
Then you added a pillow.
Then he added another blanket.
Before either of you realized it, the two of you were building a tiny fort together in the corner of the room.
It wasn't impressive.
One side was held up by a stack of books, the roof drooped a little, and there was barely enough room for both of you inside.
Still, when it was finished, Spinner looked at it like it was the coolest thing ever.
"Okay," he said, crawling inside. "This is actually kinda nice."
You followed him in, immediately noticing how close you'd have to sit in such a small space.
Not that Spinner seemed to mind.
He shifted beside you, shoulder pressed against yours beneath the blankets as the sounds of the summer night drifted through the window.
For a while, neither of you said much.
The fort was warm, the night was quiet, and being there together felt strangely peaceful.
Eventually, Spinner rested his head against yours with a tired sigh.
"Don't laugh," he mumbled. "But I kinda don't want to leave."
Honestly, neither did you.
Twice
Twice had announced that the two of you were going to have a "super romantic fort date."
Then, immediately after making that announcement, he accidentally knocked over half the supplies.
"Perfect! This is a disaster!"
"No it's not!" You say trying to make it better
The next twenty minutes were spent trying to build a pillow fort while Twice somehow made everything harder.
Every blanket he hung up fell down.
Every pillow stack he built collapsed.
At one point he got tangled in a blanket and nearly brought the entire fort down with him.
Still, somehow, the two of you managed to finish it.
It wasn't perfect, but it was cozy.
The second you both crawled inside, Twice threw his hands up dramatically.
"Wow. Look at that. I built the greatest fort ever created."
"You barely helped."
"I did all the work! I did absolutely none of the work!"
You couldn't help laughing as he proudly settled into the pile of blankets.
A few minutes later, his dramatic act faded away, replaced by a sleepy smile.
"C'mere."
Before you could argue, he wrapped his arms around you and pulled you down beside him.
"There," he mumbled happily, resting his head against you. "Now it's perfect."
Within minutes his rambling slowed, his grip loosened, and his breathing softened.
By the time the movie reached the halfway point, Twice was fast asleep, curled up against you after making you promise not to move "for at least a hundred years."
Kai Chisaki
You had somehow managed to build a tiny pillow fort in the corner of Kai Chisaki’s office.
It wasn't very big, just a few blankets draped over chairs beside his desk, but you were proud of it anyway.
Unfortunately, Kai walked in the second you finished.
He stopped in the doorway and stared at it, then at you, then back at it.
“This is stupid,” he said flatly. “Do you seriously have nothing better to do with your time?”
You rolled your eyes and ignored him while he sat at his desk and got back to work.
For the next hour, all you heard was papers shuffling, pens scratching, and the occasional annoyed sigh coming from behind his mask.
Eventually, you forgot about it completely.
Until Kai suddenly spoke up.
“The left side is uneven.”
You blinked at him.
“What?”
“The fort,” he replied without looking away from his paperwork. “The support on the left side is uneven. That's why it keeps leaning.”
A long silence followed.
“You were paying attention?”
Kai clicked his tongue in annoyance.
“I wasn't paying attention. It was simply impossible not to notice.”
Another pause.
Then, almost begrudgingly, he added, “Next time, move. I could build a better one than this.”
The second the words left his mouth, he immediately went back to his work as if he hadn't said anything at all.
