Aussie Witches: Where to get supplies on cheap
Since starting my witch journey I have found that there is not much info about where to get supplies for those living in Australia. I was inspired by @queenofboheme post about where to find supplies in Australia and I wanted to add some more stores that I found quite helpful in finding cheap supplies for my practice.
RONI’S - cheap candles that come in many sizes. They sell huge pillar candles that can burn for 100hrs which could be handy in ritual work or be used as devotional candle. Candles also come in different colours and scents and they are the only store I found that sell floating candles which would be nice to add into a bath ritual. They also sell jars in different shapes and sizes and also sell little jars that have a little spout at the top that you can be good to store moon water in, and easy pouring!
IKEA - you can get so many candle packs of different colours and scents it’s insane. Candle holders are cheap too and are can be plain or pretty. But you can get fancy plates and bowls for cheap in different colours that could be useful in providing a bowl for each of the elements. Dinner mats are also so cheap and come in many colours. I think they are a good alternative for decorating your altar for the different seasons especially those who have smaller altars. I use my bedside table and they are a good size. Utensils are also cheap too.
Markets - for those wanting to buy crystals but are under budget, the markets are a great place to find some crystals for cheap that are authentic. Glebe markets in Sydney I bought a few crystals there many palm stones and tumble stones all under $5-$10. Those who live in western Sydney areas Parklea Markets have a New Age store that also sells crystals and proper witch supplies. Incense is quite cheap there and essential oils. Polished crystals there are on the cheaper side then the raw crystals but still a great place to check it out.
Of course these aren’t the only ones I have found helpful for me but are good places to mention. If any Aussie witches out there who you have any other stores that sell cheap witch supplies that needs mentioning please comment.
