I had plans to do an absolutely diabolical side-by-side piece where Max and Floette were posing this same way with an Alive(tm) AZ. Did this half in like November and lost all motivation to do the other half LMAO but I don't want this to just go to waste...

Something about how each of the people AZ takes in have some aspect of him:

Taunie/Urbain has AZ’s moral burden to do the right thing even at their families expense

Paxton/Harmony, the weight of their destiny, so heavy they’re almost crushed

Naveen with his rejection and subsequent wandering to find a place again

And then there’s Lida

And honestly, I couldn’t quite figure out Lida. She’s headstrong and optimistic, and AZ is… well… not

But Lida is the leader, she’s the king.

She’s the one leading team MZ’s meetings, she’s the one making plans, and she’s the one who comes with you to clean up your rivals debt.

All of these people seem to need someone to take care of them, a parental figure, and it’s easy to see why they’ve gravitated to AZ and then stuck around so long. It’s easy to see him as the kind of person who would listen to them talk or cry and give them advice or a warm cup of tea or a hug, because he knows them, and he knows what they’re struggling with

Idk something about their tiny odd little family and how badly it hurts when AZ isn’t there for them anymore

AZ strolled up to Team MZ with a concerned look on his face

“Excuse me, have any of you seen Miss Ansha..?” AZ asked them

Urbain shook his head “I thought she was in the kitchen?”

“I thought so too, but when I checked she was not there, and Floette is no help.” AZ looked over at Floette who just giggles

Lida stands up “we must find her!”

“I agree.. I shall go check the roof..” AZ turns and clinging to his hair..? Is Ansha

“Shhhh!” Ansha giggles as AZ walks out of the room

“We all saw that right?”

And the room nodded in agreement
