Bacon Deviled Eggs are a tasty take on traditional deviled eggs. The smoky flavor of the bacon gives the creamy filling a savory kick. These are great as an appetizer or snack for any event.
Ingredients: 6 large eggs. 3 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled. 2 tablespoons mayonnaise. 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard. 1 teaspoon white vinegar. Salt and pepper to taste. Paprika for garnish. Chopped chives for garnish.
Instructions: Cover the eggs with cold water and put them in a saucepan. Over high heat, bring the water to a boil. Then, lower the heat to low and let it simmer for 9 to 12 minutes, depending on how thick you want the yolk to be. Putting the eggs in a bowl of ice water will help them cool down for a while. Take off the shells and cut the eggs in half down the middle. Take the egg yolks out and put them in a different bowl. Add Dijon mustard, white vinegar, salt, and pepper to the egg yolks. Mix until it's nice and smooth. Add the bacon bits and mix them in. Use a spoon or a piping bag to add the yolk mixture to each half of an egg white. Add chopped chives and paprika on top to serve. Chill until you're ready to serve.
