Volume 1 of my fanbind of @badninken’s fic little hearts is complete! it consists of chapters 1 - 8. all art is by the author themselves! i feel so blessed that this fic has such beautiful banners and art that i can incorporate into a faithful binding! i ended up not adding extra images in the typesetting due to microsoft word kicking my ass, lol.

duplexing is a bit jacked up, but ye ol’ printer’s a cheapo—not much can be done there.

as this will be going on my bookshelf, I figured i would share the comparison to the english edition of Novel: Law, of which i based the book proportions off of 😁

now, off to volume 2! (in which the boys introduce Kirk ***Krik (we love autocorrect) probably my favorite original character ever written in fic, and live in a swallow-shaped mountain for several months. godspeed to them!)

i cross stitch sometimes and have reread the Si-Pow segment of Little Hearts recently; found some samplers and modified them for law, shachi and penguin, and made bebo on my own :)

still need to be cleaned up but a fun break from edits!

Typesetting draft for my personal copy of @badninken's Little Hearts (volume 1 of ???) :) It is comprised of the first 8 chapters, and is sitting at a little over 66,000 words and just under 300 pages!

Go give it a read!!!

having a Flare Up Day™️ and decided to get through half of my Little Hearts edit today!! made it through to chapter 4 before my limbs decided the couch was no longer comfortable (and my computer was close to dying yet again)

maybe if i’m lucky i can rebind volume 1 this weekend!! 👀

Explain your url tag game! From @badninken . Thanks for the tag! I've done this one before, but it was a while ago.

SO, my name on AO3 is Harmonica_Smile, and I remember having a harmonica when I was younger, and I foolishly bought a chromatic one (a passing fad). So -- chromatic leans towards that, and the chromatic scale (music), and lamina is a form of scale (geographic or biological) or surface layers. So, it's kinda --> Harmonica (smile) --> Chromatic Harmonica -- Chromatic Scale (musical scale) --> chromatic-lamina (dunno what I was thinking at the time either, really. Haha).
