I hope y’all are enjoying your spooky season. This fall has been incredibly busy for our little family, a real #fallfiasco if you will. 😂 So instead of getting cozy and carving pumpkins we’ve been running around like crazy people. We are trying to get in the spirit of the season by starting up our fireplace, creating new soup recipes (one of my favorite things about fall) and snuggling in with our cozy blankets and fur baby once again. Not every season will be as picture perfect or calm as you want it to be, but enjoy moments where you can!    There’s so many good things around the bend and I can’t wait to share with you! Quarantine Day 35

4/21/20

✨ woke up at 7:30 this morning and did 40 minutes of solo yoga. I love getting up and just putting on my yoga playlist and doing my own flow for a while. It’s THE best way to start each day!

✨ after that I made coffee and then had classes from 9:45-11, 11:10-12:25, and then 12:45-2! They were all fun though and I LOVE the interaction (and the teachers) so I genuinely enjoy it!

✨ then at 2:30 I went for a walk, stopped and got a decaf coffee for said walk and enjoyed an hour in the sun 🌞

✨ I am officially an ambassador for Bangs Shoes (!!!! Yay !!!!) and I’m STOKED!

I got 3 pairs of shoes each coming with mystery crew socks! 🤗 I LOVE this company and I’m so stoked to represent them (in instagram! So if you wanna see that my username is paignton_hd :)

✨ also this labradorite stone is my fave atm and I like having it on me not only during my yoga practices but also while I’m chilling in bed doing nothing. It’s comforting :)

✨ my body is feeling a bit run down, so no run or bike ride today. My feet are actually quite rough and sore on the soles of my feet, probably from so much yoga lately! So I did my 40 minutes of yoga this morning and then at like 4 I did a 30 minute core focused yoga class and am calling it a day for my body. She deserves the down time!

✨ Anyways, gotta go do my ethnic studies homework before 7 when I am going to zoom a friend for a few hours!

The last three years have been such a journey of self discovery, and I am not at all who I thought I was for so many years. I used to describe myself as shy, socially awkward, and a hermit, amongst an array of other, incredibly negative terms. Sometimes I slip up and describe myself as such now, and the look on people’s faces - people who know me now - reminds me that’s not who I am anymore. That’s not who I was called to be.

I am a lover of intimate emotional connection, community, and people as a whole. I feel deeply and love fiercely. I’m a leader. I’m confident, I’m capable, I’m worthy. It’s my goal to live every day with purpose and intent, to be better than I was yesterday and make a positive impact on the world around me.

It’s amazing what and who you attract when you are able to be introspective, know your worth and realize what you’re capable of.
