I'm two days late to the party. UGH. But...
...IT IS THE ELEVENTH ANNIVERSARY OF THE BARBIE VLOGVERSE, THE ONE AND ONLY ERA THAT WAS A HUGE PART OF MY CHILDHOOD.
I was 8 years old when this era started, then was nearly 11 when Dolphin Magic came out. Dolphin Magic was the one movie that got me into Barbie. I loved everything about it when I was younger; I loved the story, animation, music, Barbie and Isla relationship, and, best of all, THE CUTEST DOLPHINS TO EVER EXIST!
By the time Recipe for Friendship came out, I was 18. After that, I waited a long time for another movie to be announced, but sadly, there was no sign of one. Instead, we got a GOD AWFUL AI REBOOT OF DREAMHOUSE ADVENTURES. HOW DARE YOU RUIN OUR CHILDHOODS, MATTEL!
My last time appreciating a new Barbie project was Barbie Mysteries: Beach Detectives, though that's technically not part of the Barbie Vlogverse (even it's just my theory lol).
Let's all take the time to honour the Barbie Vlogverse because my fan-club will forever be grateful that this masterpiece existed.
