I watched a beautiful video essay where someone explored why a lot of people preferer Batterson (Robert Patterson's Batman). They went into depth about how this movie (The Batman 2022) is more personal. We see the parts that are normally cut away; the falls, tumbles, and fear in his face when he is about to jump, moments of weakness- a humanized Batman and Bruce Wayne. As cool as Christian Bale was as the characters in the late 2000's and early 2010's- his Bruce/Batman was a power fantasy while Robert Patterson's is a broken person and more importantly a fucking werido.
What if Dick thought Bruce was blind when he first came to live with him
