The New Dynamic Duo
After such a poignant previous issue, I had high hopes for Batman #37. I never knew I was missing a Selina Kyle + Lois Lane pair up, but now I demand more of these two ladies together.
They bonded over the the flask Lois had stashed in her clutch. (A woman after my own heart.)
Later, when Bruce and Clark are having another “contest,” it became the clear these two found someone else who understands their strange lives.
Those boys won’t know what hit them once these ladies start teaming up against them.
Speaking of the boys...
Really, Bruce? Facetious much?
And, just, ew.
But one of the sweetest moments came when Bruce answered Clark’s question of why Selina:
Gosh, I hope we get a wedding. They’ve gotten married on other Earths. Let us have this! At least until the next Crisis or timeline reset. Please, DC, pretty please!

The Ex Meets the Fiancé
After the cliff hanger of Batman #34, I didn't expect Talia to take the news so well. If you can call stabbing your ex-lover in the back and then challenging the new flame to a duel.
It lead it a poignant exchange between the two women. In one panel, Selina proved she has Bruce's number.
No one can say she doesn't know what she's getting into with Bruce.
But one of the best moments was this:

I gave another look at the Teen Titans of Tomorrow story arc (issues 17-19) to make comparisons to the Lonely Place of Living happening in Detective Comics now. I noticed this little detail on the tombstones. Apparently, this BatCat wedding as been a long time in the making.
