manga spoilers!

this was a year long animatic idea by now. and because of the new green witch arc season, my love for black butler got revitalized. then i saw that there's going to be a black butler fan week so... *taps the animatic's roof* i made this lil bad boy in a few weeks. felt like i got possessed by a black butler demon (sebastian) while making it, honestly

this animatic is a lil love letter to black butler! i love the manga dearly, and the story has definitely impacted me a lot. this ED song also has a special place in my heart, as well! i think it's message is really special and sorta mirrors ciel's growth. kinda wanted to show how ciel lives and has a lot of love and care in his life with the people around him even though he claims he only has his need for revenge. and that need for revenge is similarly a declaration of his existence and his life, and what has pushed him to survive continuously. ciel's alive and is a human being, and throughout this series he experiences a lot of things and emotions and learns. this animatic was sorta a way to convey all of that. i think it's very, very neat :DD
