My blue #chasingwavesshawl is all blocked 💙💙💙 Overall, I'm really pleased with it; I love the yarn and think the colours look fabulous together. The only thing I'm a bit disappointed with is the beads. I'd originally thought to use some bright green beads, but then wondered if they were too green - there's a yellowy green in the main yarn, but it's quite subtle. In the end, I went with a pale blue, but the colour doesn't show up against the dark blue yarn at all 😏 Maybe the bright green would have worked better after all. On the plus side, my idea of beading alternate lace repeats (horizontal and vertical) was a winner. It makes the beaded rows quicker to work (although they're still long!), but there's still enough beads to provide some weight and some sparkle 😊 A big thank you to Juliet @artists_palette_yarns for going to so much trouble photographing colour combinations and for dyeing the beautiful dark blue to go with the speckle - they look amazing together 💙😍💙 #artistspalleteyarns #smoothiesock #miyukitriangle #knitting #knittersofinstagram #beadedknitting #knittedshawl
