There’s construction on the balcony, so I had to take all of my balcony plants to the kitchen. I have a tree in my apartment now! Hopefully it wont take long because they all need light in order to thrive.

Aura Bean AU

Jaune: *Tending to a bean plant*

Ruby: *Is sitting across from him* "Ok... I'll bite. What is that Jaune?"

Jaune: *looks up* "Well you know how you guys keep needing my Aura amplification? But most of the time I'm stuck helping some one else?"

Ruby: *Nods*

Jaune: "Well I was trying to figure out how to fix that, and I remembered back in initiation Pyrrha was talking about Aura, saying that all living creatures have it and I thought. "Hey? What if I boosted the aura of a plant?" So I did and it tried to kill me."

Ruby: *blinks* "It tried to kill you?"

Jaune: "Yeah I know right? It grew vines and everything. Took a while for me to calm it down but after nursing it a little bit it we had this connection. I give it Aura and protection. It gives me food."

Ruby: "But its a plant..."

Bean plant: *Hisses*

Ruby: "OK that's freaky. Cool, but freaky. Why grow your own food when you can just buy it though? I mean its not like we're poor."

Jaune: *Shrugs and scratches the bean plant on one of the pods* "I mean yeah we can get food anywhere... But can we buy aura enhanced food?"

Ruby: *Tilts her head* "Jaune... that's not a thing."

Jaune: *Offers her a bean* "Try it. I dare you."

Ruby: *Shakes her head chuckling and takes the bean* "Fine vomit boy." *Throws it into her mouth and starts chewing* "Huh it tastes a little weir-" *Her eyes dilate and she shoots up to her feet shaking with energy* "THAT'S SOME GOOD SHIT!"
