alecto, whose family is very low ranking in the sacred 28 and the DEs, grows up envying bellatrix and hating her, wanting to be her. but then somewhere along the way, when they're older and have the mark, that envy turns to lust and she wants to have her.

alecto has this fantasy, of bellatrix as this carmilla-esque vampire who's going to break into her room at night and suck her blood while she sleeps. of this woman who's going to corrupt her and turn her into what she's always wanted to be: someone like bellatrix herself. with a powerful family name and a place amongst voldemort's inner circle.

bellatrix, on the other hand, could not care less about alecto.

they start to spend time together because of the DEs and it's good. they are both insane and like to torture people. they're a good match. and so they start to fuck.

but that's all alecto is to bellatrix, and all these fantasies of true love and obsession are just, well, fantasies. alecto's fanatasies that will never come to fruition because bellatrix doesn't care about her or love her. (and, of course, there's rita fucking skeeter)
