Pop! This is how I test potential wood species for bowmaking. I make a little bow about two feet long, really abuse it and then pull until it snaps. A 24 inch bow should be able to comfortably pull back to about 9 or 10 inches before it stacks and starts to suffer. This little bit of Ocean Spray pulled well over that without taking set and then well over 30 before it snapped!
