It had been a stressful day since the start.
Beom-seok and you had been dating for a while now, long enough for you to get used to his little — and sometimes not so little — jealousy attacks. You understood him, at least most of the time. And despite everything, one thing was certain.
He couldn’t let you go.
—Beom! We could study today at my house. — You smiled brightly as you walked beside him down the hallway toward your next class. — Oh, and don’t forget that—
Your voice trailed off. You turned your head to look at him properly.
Beom-seok was unusually quiet.
His gaze was fixed somewhere ahead, not really looking at anything. His jaw was tight, shoulders tense like he was holding something back.
—Hey… something wrong? — you asked softly.
He didn’t answer at first. Just a small nod.
The silence between you felt heavy, thick enough that you could almost hear it pressing against your ears.
You sighed quietly.
—Beom… you know you can talk to me. —
—I’m okay. — he said simply.
Too quickly.
Before you could say anything else, he stepped ahead and turned toward his classroom.
Just like that.
Leaving you standing there with a strange knot forming in your chest.
The rest of the morning passed in a blur. Your thoughts kept drifting back to him — the way he avoided your eyes, the way his jaw had clenched.
By the time class started, you were barely paying attention.
—Okay, everyone, — The teacher suddenly said, clapping their hands once. — We’ll be doing a project. In pairs. — A collective groan filled the classroom.
—I’ll choose the pairs. No complaints. —
More whining followed, quiet murmurs spreading around the room as names began to be called.
One by one.
Until—
—Alright… __, you’ll work with him. —
The teacher pointed toward a male classmate sitting a few desks away. Someone you had barely spoken to before.
You hesitated for a second before standing and moving your chair closer.
—Hey, — you said with a small smile. — I kinda spaced out earlier. Did you catch what we’re supposed to do? —
He nodded.
—Yeah, it’s not too bad. — He pulled out his notebook, flipping it open. —Here, I wrote it down. —
You leaned slightly closer to see the page as he explained.
-So basically we split the work. You do this section — he pointed to the top of the page -and I’ll handle this one. Then we combine everything at the end.-
—Okay, — you nodded.
Simple enough.
There were only five minutes left before the break. Beom-seok walked down the hallway with a small bag of food in his hand — something he knew you loved.
He had bought it on the way, thinking you might smile the way you always did when he surprised you.
But as he reached the classroom door, he stopped.
You were sitting across from your partner, the male classmate the teacher had paired you with earlier. The two of you were still talking about the project, papers spread between you.
And laughing.
Something inside Beom-seok snapped.
Jealousy. But also something heavier. Something closer to sadness.
Why was he the one making you laugh? Why him?
His fingers tightened around the paper bag as he stood there for a moment longer than he should have.
You looked so relaxed. So happy.
And all he could think was—
Why wasn’t it him? Your boyfriend.
The one who loved you so much.
As he entered the classroom, both of you turned to look at him.
You smiled immediately.
—Hey, love. Can you give me a second? I'm almost done.
Beom-seok gave a small nod at your reply, standing quietly near the door. He waited while you finished writing something down and grabbed your phone from the desk.
—Alright. See you later. —you told your classmate with a small wave.
—Yeah, see you.
You stood up and walked toward Beom-seok, smiling as you reached him.
—How was your class?
Your steps were soft as you waited for him to join you on your usual walk down the hallway — toward the empty classroom where the two of you often went during breaks to eat and talk in peace.
Beom walked beside you in silence for a moment, the paper bag still in his hand.
—It was fine.
A short pause followed.
—But… who was he?
You glanced at him.
—He… seemed to flirt with you.
Beom adjusted his glasses as he spoke, the movement a little too stiff, a little too deliberate — like he needed something to do with his hands.
You frowned slightly, confused.
—Oh, just a classmate. I think his name was Ji-min… if I'm not wrong. I don’t really know him, Beom. Why?
Beom looked ahead at the hallway instead of at you.
—Never mind.
But the way his fingers tightened around the bag made it clear that it did mind.
Very much.
As the two of you sat down and began to eat, you kept talking about the new project from class, explaining the details and everything your partner had written down.
Meanwhile, Beom-seok barely touched his food.
He just pushed the rice around with his chopsticks, eyes lowered to the table.
You slowly stopped talking.
—You… sure you're okay, Beom? — you asked softly.
He didn’t answer. You leaned a little closer, your voice gentler this time.
—Beom. Don’t lie to me. You can trust me.
His hand paused.
For a moment, he stayed quiet. Then he spoke.
—…I don’t like it when guys get close to you.
His voice was low, almost a whisper. There was a hint of anger in it — but it sounded restrained, like he was trying hard to keep it under control.
His fingers tightened slightly around the chopsticks.
—I don’t want you to… change me.
The words came out awkwardly, like he wasn’t sure how to say what he was really feeling.
Finally, he looked up at you.
And there it was. That familiar insecurity in his eyes.
—Am I not good enough?
His voice was quieter now.
—Why?
You grab his hand softly. — Hey. Nobody is better than you, okay Beom? — As you hold his hand, you kiss his knuckles. Something he loved when you do it. Everytime.
—I love you. — He whisper, and you smiled.
—Me too. Okay? — You lean, kissing his cheek. But he felt his dick becoming hard.
Lately, he dreamt about making it in the empty classroom you two you usually ate. And it wasn't something that wasn't on his plan. At the end, he could make people forget it one way to another.
As the ring bell and everyone went to their classes, you two were the latest to end the break.
As you reached for the door, he grabbed your wrist.
—Don’t go, — he whispered, pulling you just a little closer.
Your heart skipped. There was heat in the way he held you, a desire you could feel pressing from him even without words.
—Beom… we should—
—Just this once, — he interrupted, his voice soft, almost desperate. — I need you.
The air between you was charged, every glance, every touch, every inhale full of tension. You felt it too — the way your hearts raced, the way your closeness burned.
—Beom. We shouldn't. It's too.. risky. — You whisper as other student pass by the closed classroom. It was now in pure silence as they enter the classrooms they needed to attend.
—Please, __. You... always go to class. It's just this once. — Beom whispered, his hands coming down his own boxers as he let down his own uniform trousers.
He grabs his already dropping pre-cum dick, and using his hand, he whimpers against your ear, knowing it makes you crazy to hear him so needy.
Beom's free hand went to down your skirt, grabbing a bit your thigh.
—Fuck, Beom.. — You whimper, covering your mouth.
—You love it, __. Please. — His hand still using his pre-cum as a lubricant to pass his hand softly among his size.
—Just this once. — You whisper, your hand slowly grabbing down his dick with your hand, and doing a handjob for him. He moans and bites down on your neck, leaving a little love mark.
It wasn't the first time you had skipped classes. And not the last one. It was really risky? Yeah. You loved it? Yeah.
—Love... — You whisper, as your hand still did a handjob on him.
—Oh, that's it. — He whispers, and holding on to you. — I want to taste you, please.
—Beom... Okay.
As he got the yes, he got to bring you against a table, your body sitting on one, as he got to remove the annoying skirt out of the way. As he did, Beom kiss the inner thighs slowly.
—Oh fuck. — You whimper, and Beom took it as something good.
He became a bit bolder, and he got to move your panties to the side. Seeing how wet you're, and knowing how to please you, as a good sub, he will. His tongue, shyly but excited, got to lick the outside.
—You like it? — Beom asked, more as an approval. Seeing your non-reply and the way your eyes shut as he tasted you, he nodded to himself.
Beom let his tongue lick your inner fold and a bit of your warm clit. He moaned softly as he did so. Enjoying every lick.
—Beom, fuck. — You moan, holding his black hair. — Don't stop. — Your hips rocked against his nose, and he continue to lick you.
Like a damn thristy man for a good cunt.
It didn't take long for such pleasure to take you over to your climax. You moan and hold on tighter to his hair as he continued to please you.
Seeing how overstimulated you were, Beom took the chance. He put his hard dick rubbing it against your entrance. Like a torture. Not fast. Slowly. Enjoying every contact.
—Just do it. — You whisper, and he did as so.
He enters your walls, and you moan in sync.
He kissed you to shut you, and he pounded slowly on you.
Beom whimper, feeling how tight you were around his size.
Even though it was standard, it knew how to make you feel pleasure enough.
He whimpers on your neck as he caresses your sides.
Removing your shirt slowly, he kept pounding into you as he got to get out of the way, what was enjoying him the full view — Your bra.
He slowly removed it, and he enjoy the view of your chest.
—Oh, your chest is so pretty. — He whisper, licking your nipple softly, and holding the other one with his hand.
His dick was perfect. And the thought of being caught? He loved it. Beom loved the feeling of you so needy.
And even more knowing you were his.
—You're mine. — He whisper. Even though it seem romantic,
It was possessive, not romantic. More of a reminder of his woman.
Time passed quickly as the two were about to reach climax.
Beom pounds against you, already overstimulated, and tries to shut down because the two will be on a really big mess if someone...
Found you two on such way.
—I'm so close. — Beom whispers. — Please. Let me cum inside of you. — It was totally risky. It was.
—Beom... I don't know. — It was the only thing you could say, still close to the climax.
Seeing the doubt, Beom pulls it out, and his dick slowly throbs on your abdomen.
You helped, using your hand to take out the last of his cum out of his dick as he breathed hard but lowly, keeping an arm around you.
—Thank you. — He whispers, resting his forehead against yours. All sweaty. But it was worth it. Totally.
I have no clue if this was obvious and I’m having a revelation that everybody else had ages ago, or if I’ve noticed something that actually matters, but I was thinking about the scene where Si-eun is unconscious (WHC2) and Beom-seok is with him in his ‘dream world’ a lot when I rewatched.
Obviously, WHC explores the theme of guilt, responsibility, regret etc very often. Particularly how those feelings are harboured amongst Si-eun.
We are aware that he feels responsible for what happened to Su-ho. The dream sequence takes place exactly where Su-ho was beaten up and subsequently induced into a coma.
In the beginning of this particular scene, we see Si-eun IN the boxing ring, and Beom-seok is sat just on the edge. However..
Just before Si-eun finally decides to push out of the sleep, Beom-seok is IN the boxing ring WITH Si-eun.
And eventually, in the end, Beom-seok is left alone in the boxing ring when Si-eun leaves.
To me, this showed how the weight of the responsibility for what happened to Su-ho was slowly realised to not be meant for Si-eun.
In the beginning, he was sat in the boxing ring Su-ho was attacked in ALONE. It shows how he blamed solely himself, by putting him in the position that the people who actually hurt Su-ho were in. That’s why Beom-seok was initially sat on the outside despite the fact that he was the one to actually deliver the blows that put Su-ho into a coma, because Si-eun was too wrapped up in his own guilt to blame Beom-seok yet.
And then Beom-seok joins him the next time we see them in this scene, inside the ring. Si-eun sheds a bit of that responsibility, recognises that it wasn’t his physical hand that reaped that fate onto his bestfriend, though still holds himself highly accountable. So, he begins to see reality (Beom-seok in the ring), and his own slightly skewed internalisation (Si-eun also being present).
In the end, after talking to his old friend, he not only realises but maybe starts to believe that perhaps it wasn’t his fault after all. That’s what pushes him out of his sleep, the fact that he has to leave Beom-seok in the ring, untethering himself from the idea that he caused what happened. Unburdening himself from the guilt, the shame, the grief, the idea that he somehow had a hand in it.
Then, he finally leaves the ring, leaving the weight of what happened with who actually should be responsible. Si-eun no longer groups himself into that circle of people.
I have no idea if this makes sense, or this is already known throughout the fandom, or if I even explained it well enough to be a coherent analysis. But I thought it was cool.

WEAK HERO CLASS 1: JUST KILL ME, WON’T YOU?
In honor of WHC1’s Netflix debut - and knowing WHC2 is coming soon - I paused my BL journey (again) to watch this.
Well.
I think this might have broken me.
I am… Sad. Furious. Angry. Crying my eyes out. Heartbroken. Exhausted. Losing my mind. Oh my god.
Violence begets violence begets violence.
If you don’t stand up for yourself, you’ll get beaten down. They will never stop feeding off the weak. They’ll come back. But if you do stand up for yourself, they’ll take revenge. You’ll (have to) retaliate, and they’ll try to settle the score. It never ends either way - a vicious cycle of unnecessary cruelty.
All this - just because no one was given any tools to express their feelings.
The parents are absent. The adults turn a blind eye.
Fists are easier to throw than words.
Boys are taught that pride matters more than healing, that violence is a rite of passage, that power cements your place in the world.
It’s bullshit.
And it’s real.
Yes, there’s dramatization - this is still a fucking TV show. But if you think daily bullying is less traumatizing than getting beaten with a fire extinguisher, I need you to wake the fuck up.
At the end, we’re all rooting for Si-eun. The underdog needed to strike back, to take revenge.
But do I feel relieved? Vindicated? No.
It just feels empty.
As empty as Si-eun feels, sitting silently beside Suho’s hospital bed.
There’s no hope. No redemption. No justice.
Just bruises, broken bones, and a ventilator working 24/7.
Honestly? Fuck this shit.
I think it’ll be an understatement when I say that the cast is impeccable.
Park Jihoon delivers a tour de force - chillingly precise, heartbreakingly human. THE EYES. Jesus Christ.
He didn’t need dramatic monologues. He stole every scene with silence - tension in his jaw, weight in his eyes. Watching him was like watching a fuse burn in slow motion. Controlled. Terrifying. Unmissable.
Choi Hyun Wook’s Ahn Suho is steady, grounded, dependable. He never starts the fight, but he will finish it if you mess with someone he loves. Honestly, he’s the soul of their little group. He’s also probably the closest thing to the hero of the series and watching him end up unconscious, maybe never waking up? Just wrecks me.
Oh Beom Seok… Hong Kyung plays him with terrifying subtlety. You almost forget about him - until you realize he’s been unraveling the whole time. Desperate to be needed, seen, chosen. His affection turns into obsession, and when that flips - it hurts. That damn Instagram request. God.
But heart of the show is Si-eun and Suho, together.
Si-eun is all sharp edges, quiet rage, isolation. Suho is emotion, fists, unwavering loyalty. And somehow, when they collide - it’s chemistry.
Suho chooses Si-eun. Over and over again. With his fists, with his endless food requests, with that steady presence that says: “You’re not alone anymore.” And Si-eun, who never needed anyone, starts to lean. Just a little.
They’re two broken boys, finding warmth in the wreckage.
And for a brief, fragile moment - it feels like maybe they could survive. Maybe they can even live a little.
Maybe.
So when this whole thing comes crashing down, the grief hits harder than just losing a friend. It’s the death of a fragile hope - of the quiet, almost-possible future Si-eun had long stopped believing in, only to find again in the warmth of unexpected friendship.
And that’s what ruins you. That’s what doesn’t let you breathe.
That’s why I’m not okay.
At all.
I was just wondering if you had any agere headcanons for regressor!Beom Seok? Thank you x
Regressor! Beom-seok Headcanons
•Very large range of ages he’ll regress to, going anywhere from 0-13. Though, he typically stays around the younger ages, somewhere between 2-6.
•His regression is mostly involuntary, on rare occasions he may do it voluntarily but that’s really rare.
•He’s very sensitive and anxious. Any type of yelling or violent, directed at him or not, terrifies him to the point where he’ll break down in an instant.
•It takes a long time for him to get used to having a caregiver. For a while, he’ll be extremely nervous and quiet around them, as well as distancing himself from them.
•Though, once he gets more comfortable around his cg, he gets very clingy and attached to them. He’s still pretty quiet, but a bit more talkative than he is at first.
•He gets jealous easily. He hates if his caregiver gives someone else any kind of attention. He won’t outright say anything, but he will start crying and when asked what’s wrong, he’ll say nothing’s wrong. He refuses to talk about it most of the time, he typically has a hard time communicating his feelings.
•When he’s scared or upset, he’ll hide in his closet. He will hide in there for hours until he feels safe enough to come out, which is often when nobody else is in the house.
•He doesn’t have much “gear” for his regression, besides some really old, worn items from his childhood. Even then it’s not much, just an old teddy bear and a baby blanket that he hides in the back of his closet, but those two things are his biggest comfort items. He’d be completely devastated if anything happened to them.
•Despite not having much, he does want little “gear”. He really just wants anything and everything that he thinks could help and comfort him during his regression. Bottles, pacifiers, sippy cups, teethers, toys, etc. Whatever he thinks would be comforting to him, he’s willing to try anything really.
•He is very emotional and has a really hard time controlling his emotions. He has crying fits and outbursts a lot, feeling really ashamed and embarrassed afterwards. He also gets nervous about his caregiver’s reaction, but he quickly gets reassured by them and comforted.
•Loves and craves any kind of affection and praise. He gets so happy whenever he’s praised for doing something, or is given affection such as getting his hair played with or being cuddled with.
•He doesn’t know how to react when he receives gifts. If his caregiver buys him something, he kind of just stares at it before he starts to cry. He’s just so grateful and can’t really show it any other way.
•His regression definitely wasn’t fun for him at first, and there are definitely a lot of times where it still isn’t, but there are times when his regression can actually be enjoyable and healing. Mainly when someone like a friend or cg is with him and he gets to play with them and have fun. That’s extremely healing and comforting to him.
•He’s kind of scared of the dark, and often sleeps with a night light on. The only time he doesn’t need a night light is when he’s around ten or older, then he’s fine with sleeping without it.
•Nicknames!! He loves any kind of nicknames, they make him feel really special and happy.
