snowpea died yesterday, same day as the other post he started to pinecone and deteriorated throughout the whole day until i found him gone in his tank i really thought he was going to get better, he was doing so well and had such a sweet and inquisitive personality is there something wrong with the tank? (bubbles came down with dropsy in this tank and was put down in a separate container, its been more than a month, ive done large water changes weekly, parameters are good) bubbles was healthy and then he crashed really rapidly just like snowpea if ive done something wrong please be kind

I think bubbles has dropsy. I'm not sure. I know these videos suck but hes been so uncharacteristically still, like in the bottom two gifs, for most of the day. He doesn't eat and avoids mirrors instead of flaring at them (he used to be so fiesty). He's active in the cup gif just because he hates cups. Once in a while he'll explore around his tank like the upper two gifs. I have him on kanaplex (day 2) and I'm giving him epsom salt baths twice a day. The pineconing doesn't look too severe right now but it's still clear that he's pineconing. I would appreciate any advice and I'm wondering at what point I should euthanize (clove oil) if it comes to that. Parameters- Ammonia: 0 Nitrates: 5 Nitrites: 0 pH: 7.5 Temp: 80 F @jayce-space

Today my rescued betta, Appleseed, passed away from dropsy. He lived a good last few months in a 5 gallon tank after being rescued from a not so caring home. I’m going to miss him very much @lunaspiritsoul @cloakgirl @a-cat-in-a-balloon
