Chaed has a new game he like to play it's called see mom and get stress stripes for no god damned reason
Fishblr, do fish ever get itchy?
I just saw my betta Viserion flash against like 5 things in a row, which I've never seen him do since I had him. Now he's acting normal again. Besides the fin biting he hasn't had other problems, and it's only been 4 days since water change day (I'll test the water tonight though). Is it even possible that he just got itchy, or should I immediately be thinking parasites? If he does that again I'm gonna try to get a video.
Sorry for all the problems and crap but..He looks like he has black scratches, are they scratches or something else? Is he changing color or is there something very wrong going on....? I appreciate all and any feedback
his ventral fin is stuck pointing out&forward, as well as being flared open. i can't see any tearing, swelling, lesions, fuzz, etc. on his ventral or anywhere else he is still able to swim smoothly (in the first gif he's near the filter output - he likes to hang out around it sometimes) and seems unstressed. whenever ive opened the tank lid to examine him, he gets excited thinking ill be feeding him, so he still has an appetite he is hanging out near the top of the tank - he can swim smoothly, but having it stuck out seems to affect his desire to swim much. im assuming that's due to the increased difficulty he's with two mystery snails in a cycled heated filtered 10g how can/should i treat this? what IS it? i haven't been able to find any specifics on this
The fish parent moment when
You go to a friend's house and they know you like fish, so they show you their betta in a 0.5 gallon bowl and it's severely bloated and having swim bladder issues and is stress striping and lethargic, and you have to fight the urge to tell them everything they're doing wrong in fear of losing new friends and just go "If I get you a 5 gallon tank would you move him to it? I promise he'll be happier and you'll have to do water changes less!"
my fish's hobbies include
swimmin around real fast! :)
flashing his cute lil fins all over the place! :)
eating his food real quick! :)
pretending to be fucking dead by lying down on his pebbles and not fucking moving for an hour
